Great chocolate and chocolate drinks. Great for the whole family. I like the dark chocolate nibbles with coconut or nuts on top, orange rind dipped, and my favorite, although rare, is the dark chocolate with rose. One dropped in oatmeal makes for a tasty breakfast.

Such an unusual experience. Fun and delicious. Especially good for history buffs. Children will love the taste and adults the moment of fun.

Wonderful day on the slopes followed by a 'coffee break' at Kakawa. The elixirs are the best. Highly recommend any of the New Mexican I spired creations like Tzul or a horchata. The truffles are to die for. Worth coming back again and again to work our way through the menu.

The chocolate at Kakawa is really unrivaled in Santa Fe, and maybe all of New Mexico. Their drinking chocolate is so rich and decadent that it's become a must-go place when it's really cold outside. The only thing is, yes, their chocolate is very expensive. $5 gets you just a couple of ounces of drinking chocolate, which can feel a... More

Tiny seating area, more tables outside. Many people take out. Great truffles, yummy chocolate drinks (American is what you expect, and Mexican is sweeter, almost a hint of amaretto). Try samples in little cups. Then indulge. The ice cream is really rich and smooth. We will be back.

My wife loves chocolate so this was a must stop visit for us. I can't recall another chocolate house even close to this one in terms of quality and selection. Plus, the staff is super friendly. While I am not the chocolate lover that my wife is, I thoroughly enjoyed tasting the chocolate and having a great ice cream sundae.
