Jambo Cafe is worth visiting at least once just to try, as it does offer a different variety of African and Carribean food as opposed to the typical Southwest fare. The food was good, but not fantastic, and expensive as most Santa Fe establishments are....More

Jambo has become a Santa Fe staple. The foods are tasty and unusual. Soups on a cold day are great. Specials are always creative and delicious.

Talk about fusion cuisine! While one would expect east African food based on the name, in addition there is north African, Caribbean, and others. Excellent stews of all kinds. Very friendly service. And it's relatively friendly on the $. What more could one ask for?

I love soup and Jambo has some of the best soups I have ever had. Yes, they are in a mall, but it’s totally ok! Seriously the food is so delicious, but honestly I always opt for the soup. I’ve only been for lunch.

Wonderful menu with so many delicious dishes it was difficult to choose. Both Morrocan stew and coconut chicken curry were delicious with large portions. Servers were friendly and fast. Will definitely come again to try award winning soups.

You don't need reservations...but don't plan to arrive at 12 noon! Earlier or later is best.

The dishes were not heavily seasoned, but all of ours contained sodium. There are links on their website for their menu and to ask jambocafe directly.
