Love this place. Food is always good and plentiful. Just had the biscuits and gravy - more than enough to eat and delicious. Only downside is that during tourist season you can hardly get into the place!

We usually do not stop at the Rocky Bay Cafe during our summer visits because it is too crowded, but our winter trip gave us the chance to stop in without the crowds--glad we did. For breakfast we ordered Huevos Con Chorizo (fabulous) and a classic breakfast. Both meals are quite large and very, very good. We may have to... More

A great local restaurant that serves very good food at reasonable prices. A great stop after sailing to the island.

I just went there this morning 1-22-2017 and just stopped in to get a coffee and some pastries. I ordered a mocha and the lady burnt the coffee and put zero flavoring in it upsetting when you spend over 3$ on coffee. Then I also ordered a muffin, donut, and a cinnamon roll and she threw all three of them... More

Visited twice...one visit it was outstanding...wonderful food and service - people were lined up out the dirt waiting.... The second visit was the opposite. Disappointed, but if I see lines out the door, may give it a try again.

We stopping for breakfast and I immediately loved it! It smelled good and it was bright and artsy. Staff were kind and gracious! I understand the five star rating. They deserve it!

Loved our breakfast at Rocky Bay Cafe(right on the main drag in Friday Harbor). I had a breakfast burrito that was enormous and delicious...I had to take half of it home with me. Server was great and we arrived early enough that there was no wait and we didn't wait long for our food. The decor is quirky and fun.

This cozy spot located on the "main drag" in town walking distance straight up from the ferry. Booth and table seating with a varied menu that is the ultimate in "diner food" dining. Breakfast and lunch served all day long with good menu selection. We had luncheon sandwiches which were cooked to perfection and very tasty. All sandwiches were served... More

Rocky Bay is a reliable breakfast and lunch establishment conveniently located in Friday Harbor....walking distance to just about everything....Friday Harbor has lots of places to eat but Rocky Bay is one of the few that feels more like a local diner. Staff is welcoming and the menu pretty good with lots of standards for those looking for comfort food.
