Our "Go To" Chinese restaurant. First impression? Chinese patrons. That was a good sign for us. American menu is typical and only average quality. If you're looking for Chinese American like lemon chicken, sweet and sour anything, etc., then the food is average. If you want authentic Chinese then you have to order off the "real" Chinese menu. I can... More

Have passed by this place hundreds of times as the restaurant is located facing the parking lot and not visible from the road. This place happened to be near an errand destination so we decided to try it for a Saturday lunch. You get the feeling that the place has been here for a while. Rather like the feeling one... More

The service and food were excellent at this Chinese restaurant. Food was tasty with generous portions, and the prices were reasonable. A big plus for my Chinese wife was that the menu comes in English and Chinese. Also, unlike many Chinese restaurants in San Antonio, the menu includes fish. Quick and friendly service. My wife and I highly recommend this... More

We used to come here a lot for lunch but this is seriously the most disgusting excuse for Chinese food I've ever had. The sesame chicken could easily be mistaken for cat poop with sesames on it. It was dark and dry. The fried rice no flavor . Mongolia beef was flavorless and tasted like it had been sitting for... More

We were introduced to peking duck here by Chinese friends- it is delicious. A tad expensive but a great treat. The duck is tender skin crisp and it comes with soft warm dumpling like buns. Then a soup is made from the bones. the last time we were there I took that home, strained to remove fat and it was... More

Tired of Chinese buffets with everything from sushi to pizza on steamtrays, we went to Kim Wah after reading a feature in the newspaper. The lunch plates were generous and my kung pao shrimp was lovely. Good size shrimp, cooked just right, with lots of veggies in a hot/sweet/tangy sauce. Comes with choice of soup, egg roll, choice of rice... More

Recommend the Tofu Clay Pot and fish mauw soup as their specialty items. Can't go wrong with the spicy Singapore noodles. Decent prices but be sure to check the bill for any add ons or mistakes. English language is not their strong point, and rightfully so since you are at an authentic chinese restaurant. May need to call ahead of... More
