My wife and I stopped in here for lunch today after we were told to give this place a try by a couple of locals. We shared the river walk platter. 2 enchiladas a crisp taco and a tostada rice and beans. They also brought out fresh chips and salsa. The food looked like standard Mexican food but I was... More

The view of the River Walk was beautiful while having Guacamole made fresh at the table by Derek. What a perfect day.

If you like loud and lively places like I do,you will like this place. The decibel level of conveersations is high and the roving Mariachi band certainly adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food is quite ordinary. About what you would expect from an average Mexican-type restaurant. Fortunately, we got good service so we still had an enjoyable evening even... More

What a FUN place to eat. The vibe is energetic and the staff is very polite and accommodating. The food and margaritas were delicious! We would certainly return for more delicious Mexican food.

It’s obvious that Rita’s is a typical tourist trap type restaurant. The food is average and overpriced. You basically pay for the “luxury” of dining on the river walk (which is essentially a tourist trap in itself). I had the Old Faithful Margarita, the Table Side Guacamole for Two, and the Enchiladas. The margarita was pretty standard but tasted a... More

i was really, really, really disappointed in the food. the tortillas are not freshly made, they are some cheap store brand. the meat was meh and the rice was hard. you could also tell that he avocado was not fresh. i will say that the margaritas and service was pretty good tho.

This may not be your first choice for meals in San Antonio, but for the river walk, its probably one of the more reasonably priced places to eat tex-mex. We were looking for dinner around 6 pm on a friday night and the first two places we tried along the river walk had a long wait. Ritas does have a... More

Stopped in while walking the river walk. Standard Tex Mex. nothing special at all. Good service though. Lousy Manhattan cocktail. Probably can't make much more than a Margarita.
