It was great to visit the Mad Dogs in San Antonio, TX. My first visit to Mad Dogs was when they were in Hong Kong on Nathan Road. I always stopped there on my layovers to the PRC and always enjoyed myself hugely. :) Spent a lot of money there. Great place. Great people at the "new" location also.

Given that it's a theme-y restaurant on the river walk, I should have known it would be a few notches below Chili's. (Not an outrageously high bar.) But I was desperate to find a place to watch the Longhorn football game at 11 AM (speaking of low bars). The food was mediocre at best. Beer selection was just okay. Service... More

I first stopped by this pub back in 06 and 07. If going to be partying and drinking on the Riverwalk? This is a place to do it at. Good music, drinks and girls in their kilts. Just recently was there in Nov 2016 for a friends birthday. Needless to say we left happy.

We went to have some drinks and it was great. The drinks are not different to other places, but the live music band was fabulous, Good ambience, great music.

We had dinner on the patio of this restaurant on the Riverwalk, and it was very pleasant. Service was good. I had the fish and chips, and it was a very large piece of fish and tasted good.

They have karaoke here a few times a week, but it is always delayed if the game is on. It doesn't matter which game. The service is average but the frozen margaritas are exceptional.

We had a nice lunch (coconut shrimp salad, 12.50), a bottle of foreign beer (6.00) and fish and chips (13.00). Most prices are bit high on the River Walk but the few of people walking by is good, located right outside the Hyatt River Walk. Service was wonderful (Keiyana).

Stopped here for a casual lunch. Service was very, very slow. Had a Chicken Caesar salad which was ok, but chicken was chunks of processed chicken versus a freshly grilled chicken breast - taste and texture reflected this - do not order. Wife had the BLT which was quite good along with good fries. Not a great value.

We are located right on the SAN ANTONIO RIVERWALK, directly under the SAN ANTONIO HYATT REGENCY HOTEL.Unlike other SAN ANTONIO BARS & CLUBS, MadDogs is an AUTHENTIC BRITISH theme pub.

We offer a full range of draft & bottled IMPORTED BEERS, ice cool exotic cocktails and extensive domestic beverage options.

We are situated on the VERY BEST Riverwalk Location; our tropical terrace nestles on the banks of The River itself. The uninterrupted tranquility allows options for relaxing with a ‘cold one’ or simply people watching as the Riverwalk tourists bustle by. Either way you can’t avoid enjoying our LITTLE PIECE OF BRITAIN, whilst basking in the South Texas sun.
