We went to Acenar for dinner. Not impressed at all. Service was slow. Food was average. Nothing was bad but I was expecting more for the ranking on trip adviser. Not sure if the review here are authentic.

Absolutely delicious food and great service. Shrimp nachos and the guacamole were to die for! Great choice for the river walk!

We had a great lunch at Acenar opting for a range of tortillas and guacamole. Lovely view out on to the river walk and if you like birds (as I do) there were lots of them staying close by in case you dropped any tortillas. The team were very friendly and helped us out with lots of local suggestions. I... More

Appetizer (tinga chicken empanadas) was yummy! The main dish was chipotle chicken and fish tacos which were below average. The dessert was caramel crepe which was ok. Overall ambience was great but the food underwhelmed.

We arrived well after the lunch hour but it was not a problem. Free homemade salsa served with chips while we waited for our food. Our party had the Citrus Salad, Chile Relleno, Shrimp Tacos, and Enchiladas Verdes. The portions were large and, except for the salad, were served on hot plates so the food stayed warm. Everything was delicious... More

Everything was excellent here! Great food and exceptional service--each server knew the menu well and was able to give excellent advice! Homemade salsa and chips while waiting for the meal was a real plus. I went back for a second time. The servings are quite substantial, so be careful about ordering too much.

AWESOME margaritas, tasty salsa, and a fantastic meal! I ordered the Duck Tinga Chalupas (which looked so amazing), but the kitchen had run out of duck, so I took the Cabrito en Chile Ancho. It was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly and understanding, even though we had reserved a larger table and our entire party wasn't able to make... More

The food is great. The view is great. We sat on the patio right by the riverwalk. The service is good.

We enjoyed our patio dining on the Riverwalk. Despite a cold evening, the outdoor heater worked well. The chips and salsa were delicious and our meals, chille relleno and seafood enchilada, were good as well. Nice evening.
