Had to wait for seating although place was not busy. After being seated there was another wait before staff came to take order. Something wrong with management overseeing customer service. Order placed and service got better. Food was delicious and moderately priced at that!

My daughter recommended Zio's for dinner on a recent visit to San Antonio in mid August. She raved about the food and I really like Italian food so I was waiting to be really swept of my palette. Well, I was really disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone. The food was bland and not even close to traditional... More

It was late when we arrived at Zios 8:30 pm to be exact. My husband & I shared a lasagna plate. When it arrived I could tell it was not piping hot because I did not see any steam coming from it. Our server, Phillip, immediately apologized & shared we seemed like very nice people that deserved better. It was... More

What a disappointment! 3 meals out of 5 were awful. All had Alfredo sauce thick as paste with absolutely no taste. We let our server know and I watched her then go and inform the manager. The manager, Jose, never acknowledged our complaint and even after requesting to speak with him, we left paying for 5 meals, 3 of which... More

We walked here from the comfort suites hotel and found it to be a good value and good food. It is nicely decorated and the food was at a good price. I appreciate the nightly specials.

Food was less than on past visits. Very slow to make it to the table. Two of the four dishes were overcooked. We like Zio's but this visit was not to past standards.

When we want excellent spagetti and meatballs we come here. They have a large menu amd prices are very reasonable. Their bread pudding is best in town. Even their salads are yummy. The bread and olive oil and herbs cannot be better. The ambience is very Italian. Try it once and you are hooked.

They actually forgot to make our two year old's meal! Brought out all the adult food and left her sitting there with nothing to eat. It took a long time to get served at Alma, especially considering there was one other table occupied when we arrived. And the food was not good at all. Won't go back.

The food here was just not as good as I remember. I had soup and salad (all you can eat), but would much have preferred the soup selection at one of their competitors. I also had a Bellini that was just ok. My hubby ordered a veggie pizza, but it had no sauce. Service was fantastic.

Coupon special of Pronto lunch $13.99 for 2. We enjoyed salads, Zio's yummy bread and one entrée of lasagna and entrée of Chicken stuffed pasta---delicious. Will want to do this again. Waiter seemed new, not very organized. But, a nice touch was having the Chef bring our food out and stopped by later to see if everything was ok.
