This is a must stop for our family whenever we get to San Antonio. The food is always great and the staff friendly. Its an easy walk from most hotels in the riverwalk area.

walked over here after touring Steves and Guenther houses. Recommended by several people, and they were right. Best salsa my midWestern taste buds ever had – dark and very flavorful without being too hot. Waiter said it was tomatos and jalapenos but must have been...More

I had done some research and Rosario's came up on each of the searches so our first night we walked here for dinner. The first thing I noticed was how loud the restaurant was. We were seated and it really never quieted down. There wasn't...More

Food here was outrageously good. I had the chicken Chalupas and they were delicious. Our party also enjoyed the tacos and enchiladas. Food was very reasonably priced. Long wait on a Wednesday night, usually means food is good. We enjoyed drinks while we waited.

Wonderful Mexican restaurant! Parking is bad. The restaurant is always crowded. The salsa is wonderful. The margaritas are fresh and very tasty. I had the chicken mole enchiladas and they were fantastic. I will definitely return.

Not normally a drinker at lunchtime we succumbed and had a "special" 25th anniversary mark which paired beautifully with lunch. Ceviche for my wife, and pork lunch special for me. Could not ask for a better mid day treat in San Antonio.

We have been going to Van's for a number of years and overall we like it, great food and always good wine selection... The restaurant is a mixture of cultures, some Vietnamese, Chinese and so on. The owner, Van is a great chief and will...More

Wait staff were polite and pleasant, and the steak fajitas were good, but the rest of the meal was just okay. I wouldn't return if all I wanted was great Mexican or Tex-Mex food. The patrons upstairs on the ground floor all seemed to be...More

Enjoyable time for group of 5 for a late dinner. Everyone liked their food, but we all loved the mexican martinis. Not impressed by service.
