Had a healthy breakfast of oatmeal and 2 scrambled eggs. Great service! Nice atmosphere and locally owned. Location just off the Riverwalk on Commerce Street was convenient from the hotel. Lastly very reasonable prices.

Went on St. Patrick's Day before a lunchtime rush. Our server, Anthony, was fabulous. We had the bratwurst and sauerkraut and chicken and dumplings. Yummy! The soft pretzels were magnificent. Soft, doughy and hot out of the oven. Anthony even brought us some rye bread...More

I thought that the only way you'd get this kind of eating (not dining) experience would be to go to some small town in the hinterland. No 'engineered by corporate committee' way to run a restaurant. As you know; these days, in a city the...More

We went to Schilo's as a recommendation from the hotel. They did not steer us wrong. We on a Sunday morning for breakfast - had an outstanding meal and extremely good service. There were two musicians playing whatever you would request. They were great. Place...More

Yes! Love me some counter style deli lunch! We had a long break from a conference and walked to the deli. It was crowded, but we were able to find 3 spots at the counter. I had the kraut dog. I was super excited when...More

We love Deli's especially German ones so our supper visit here did not disappoint ! Original old fashioned ambience complete with pressed tin ceiling and paneling and tiled floor. The food was authentic too. Ruben sandwiches on rye,, mmmm

The Riverwalk is so convenient and enjoyable that any hotel is a pleasant walk to get there. I don't remember which would be the closest, if walking is difficult for you, but if not, it's no more than a ten or fifteen minute... More
