Our hotel recommended The Guenther House for me, a true breakfast lover. They were so right, and the history of the house was a great bonus. Our server was friendly and food was delivered promptly. I highly recommend the house blend coffee, a blend of...More

Breakfast all day. Great food upper pricing for what you get. Tourist location so plan on taking over an hour. But I say the buskers are the largest I have ever had.

We stopped for breakfast since it was suggested as best place to eat breakfast in San Antonio. This place has a nice history, and 'ok' food. IMO, nothing special, especially for the price. We did enjoy a walk in the area & riverwalk. I had...More

I had breakfast here midmorning during the week. Strawberry waffle with an egg and sausage on the side along with coffee. Food was excellent though the coffee could be stronger. Service was very attentive. Not cheap but reasonably priced. Unique atmosphere and in an interesting...More

We were in San Antonio and decided to have brunch at The Guenther House. The wait time was long, but there was plenty to do and see while waiting for a table. After you eat, there is an entrance to the River Walk just across...More

Amazing ambiance. Great customer service. And delicious food. Wouldn't change a thing! Pancakes are a must!

I wouldn't go there for breakfast or other meal--over-rated--average food. Parking nightmare. I do however like the history of the home/family. And, it's close to the Blue Star complex!

We had a great family breakfast at the Guenther house, then shopped toured the home and grounds, down by the riverwalk.

Expect long wait times for breakfast paired with unbelievably mild food. The only character to be found in this eatery is with the location.

Food was excellent especially the breakfast platters and the waffles. Thank you Martin for the fantastic service. I have to mention the House coffee - WoW! Neat setting, cool museum!

I'm sorry, I'm really not sure. Neither of us are on a gluten free and I didn't really pay attention.

There is a free parking lot. Signage is small for the lot and you can't really see the house from the lot. (The lot is in back of the mill warehouse). Look at satellite view on Google maps and it is very clear. Beautiful... More

I don't know for sure. I would guess they don't inside as the seating is rather confined. My December 2014 trip is the first time I've eaten outside, and I didn't see any dogs, but that doesn't mean they don't allow dogs. If... More
