San Antonio has some of the best restaurants anywhere but Biga is in a category of its own. Love the view. Love the intimate setting. Absolutely love the food! Our favorite restaurant when we're there! Just awesome!

We met another couple at Biga last night because they had told us so many good things about it. This is not an inexpensive dinner, but the tastes are outstanding. The waiter was lovely, explaining how the flavors blended in particular dishes and advising us...More

Overall the service was excellent. The food was good. I tried the signature venison and quail dish. The venison was the hero here. Excellent. The quail was a bit dry to be honest. But then that's not uncommon. We enjoyed our meal and it was...More

Just had a wonderful dinner at Biga, overseen by waiter Rob C. He helped us order drinks and dinner with expertise and willingness to make recommendations. Quail was exceptional. Lobster bisque was uniquely light. Toffee pudding was outstanding. Great experience all around.

We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Biga, and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent--my husband enjoyed his lamb, my daughter loved her snapper, and my rib-eye was the best I've ever had (better than Bohanan's!). Definitely try the pineapple sorbet--yummy. Our server...More

Hello! This will be our first (of many, I hope! :>) visit to San Antonio. My husband and I are coming to celebrate this birthday (2/9) and we will be there on Feb. 11 for dinner. From the reviews I have read, it seems that you all do something special for birthdays and such -- can you please confirm this? I appreciate your quick response. Kindest regards, Melanie Ann Dick Birmingham, AL

Overlooking a quiet bend of the San Antonio Riverwalk, but within walking distance of all Downtown hotels and the Convention Center, Biga on the Banks highlights the daily changing menu of Chef Bruce Auden, the most frequently James Beard nominated Chef in San Antonio. Menu features seafood, steaks, lamb and wildgame with a preference for local and sustainable product, but do leave room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding. With high Zagat ratings Biga is an ideal venue for a romantic dinner for 2 or has impressive private dining rooms to entertain clients.
