Our food was amazing! So happy we stopped here, will definitely come back!!! Very casual atmosphere, large patio area as well. Everyone in the restaurant was so friendly and helpful. Did I mention the food was super delicious!?! I had a Gorgonzola cream sauce, which was very rich but so delicious. My date had the chicken panini, wow. Everything was... More

Good play area for the kids however parents don't watch their own kids at all. There are no rules Super nice people work here but the food was not something to brag about. Dry bland sandwich. Hard to order standing in line. Cute place. Not the best food. Nice people.

Great casual Italian restaurant. You order up front, and they bring the food to your table when ready. I had the gluten free make your own pasta. Great selections of pasta and vegetables. I had the butter/garlic sauce! Yum!!!!

We had read so many positive comments about the food so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a Large 16" Supreme Pizza ( $20) and a mini salad along wit drinks. The atmosphere is OK and the service is awesome. From the moment you walk in until when you leave someone always checking on you. Now that... More

Had dinner here tonight with friends that highly recommended this restaurant. I had their Italian sausage sub which was very good the bread was homemade and Italian sausage was awesome just enough cheese peppers and onions hand saws to make it work the ultimate price of paying for it. My other friends had the vegetarian lasagna which they thought was... More

Food was amazing! Best Italian I have had in awhile. I did the create your own pasta. The bread they bring you with your meal is homemade and melts in your mouth!

Purple Garlic is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. I love their gluten free pizza, but their calzones, pastas and other dishes are amazing too (verified by my friends and family.) You can't miss a good meal here.

The Purple Garlic is kind of unique for an Italian Restaurant in San Antonio. One goes to the counter to order then you are served when it is ready. Self-serve for your drinks and silverware. Remind you of a fast food restaurant? Well the food is anything but. You can have everything from salads, to pasta and pizza. Sandwiches to... More

We normally go for lunch. The Spinach/garlic soup is exquisite. You order when you come in and take a seat. The staff is courteous and the environment is very pleasant. There is outdoor seating for those incline to do so. It offers a wide variety for lunch and dinner selections. You will not be disappointed in your order. We try... More
