Very reasonable prices. Looks like a dive. Very old building and surroundings Smoke from cooking permeates and food has 4 levels of spicy Phad Thai excellent. Spring rolls great

Great service. Friendly servers and their recommendation of garlic lovers with chicken was lovely. Fresh hot lunch. Plenty of flavor. Served with rice. Nice settling away from the hustle and bustle of the river walk.

We ate at the Thai Lao Orchid for dinner, mid-week. The egg rolls and sauce were tasty. The Phad Thai was okay, but quite reddish in color and not spicy, even though we ordered it medium spice. I have had much better. The Panang Curry had only green beans for vegies. I am used to it having peppers and basil... More

A quant restaurant off of San Antonio's Broadway st and only 3 blocks from the river walk. I had Tom Yum with shrimp and Massaman with chicken. It was a decent meal but not one I would request again. The establishment was run down and reminiscent of a "hole in the wall". The restrooms are down a narrow hall in... More

Chicken satay was good and really cheap compared to the high price it generally goes for. Ordered a second one. The peanut sauce and cucumber/pepper sauce were good and also a generous portion. Pad Thai was good. Green curry was really nice. We would probably not have walked in because it is a very simple place. The other diners, with... More

In fairness I asked them to make it gluten free so substitutions may have to have been made. Regardless, I eat Thai a lot and this isn't one I would visit again.

Curry was like water with few vegetables or chicken and fairly bland. Thai spring rolls were tasted similar to that found in the frozen section of your local grocery store. Pad Thai was bland and the chicken was full of grizzle. The restaurant was filled with smoke (presumably burnt food) with an overall poor atmosphere. If you are accustomed to... More

The place is really not much to look at, but the food is pretty good. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was really tasty. The place seats maybe 20people tops, and not much from an interior style wise, but the food makes up for it.

We visited when the AC was broken, so lets put that aside. Other than being 85 degrees inside, the inside is dark and smells like fryer oil. This restaurant is walking distance off the riverwalk/Alamo area, and has a good sized menu. While the food is tasty, its hardly authentic feeling. Prices lean towards the higher side, and the waitress/cashier,... More
