My daughter's 12th birthday was on October 27th and she decided she wanted to eat at Osaka, because in her words, she wanted the guy to cook in front of her. I called the restaurant at 5:00pm for a 6:30pm reservation. I explained to the person on the phone that it was my daughter's 12th birthday, and he seemed very... More

I enjoy the sushi here. I have never had a bad experience. We often go during happy hour because the prices are outstanding and you get a lot of food. Always constant and good. Service never bad. I would highly recommend during happy hour. Prices are great and you can try different rolls each time and not worry about wasting... More

We tried this restaurant for the first time today and we were very pleased. We had hibachi and enjoyed it very much. If you have hibachi ask for Jesse to be your cook - especially if you have kids. He was very entertaining and the kids enjoyed the show.

This place is pricey, not your cheap sushi joint. My daughter loves sushi and we come here because it's convenient to where we live. We've never eaten anything other than the sushi. We all try something different each time we go. It's very clean and the service is always great.

My husband & I were coming in late & staying at a near-by hotel. It was during the week, & not a lot of restaurants were open. We saw this place, it looked nice & clean, we love Japanese food, & was open, so we decided to try it without checking reviews. All I can say is never again.... We... More

My wife and I have been there three times for lunch. We have ordered the bento boxes. The food has been consistently good but the service has been consistently poor. The manager needs to train his serving staff better. I complained once to the manager about our server that had major attitude and he really didn't seem to care much.... More

The food tasted fresh. The service was good but she could have smiled a little bit more. Next time we might try to hibachi grill; the people sitting there seemed to be enjoying the entertainment of the chef.

If you want to spend your money on extremely over-priced, lousy "Japanese" food while listening to rap music blaring throughout the restaurant, RUSH to this restaurant. Sadly, TERRIBLE is the lowest rating option here, but please know it is far below TERRIBLE... HIDEOUS is a better rating description. My teriyaki chicken was extremely overcooked and dry. After the chicken was... More

Went to Osaka with my family ordered sushi and entrees. Sushi came out and we kept waiting for soup and salad but that never came. When the waiter came with the entrée I asked where is the soup and salad and he said I already brought it to you. I said okay where are the empty bowls? Two entrees came... More

I go to Osaka frequently with my husband where we just love their fried rice. The Miso soup is the perfect solution for a cold wet windy day (Just a shame that's not a frequent thing in San Antonio) I ate here with a friend and was a little more adventurous in getting one of their bento boxes. I am... More
