Ubered over from the riverwalk downtown and then walked back, maybe a couple of miles. Not too crowded, so we sat outside on the deck and everyone had a friendly dog with them it seems. Good beer: Cask conditioned ale, Cowtown brown ale, and TexMex lager, micheladas. The pickled veggies wee actually great!

So, I was between events on Martin Luther King Day. I stopped into Blue Star Brewery for a rest. Special was three chicken-fried chicken fingers over linguini alfredo. It was the best alfredo I've had in a long time! Clearly made from scratch, served at just the right temp. The raspberry beer was surprisingly good! I've enjoyed the pilsner several... More

A very nice, quirky, eclectic place to eat. This used to be an old arts area & is now a more upscale food & drinks area. Food was good, a bit pricey for some items & all the beer is local & organic. So, if you're into organic foods high brews, this is your place.

We stopped in here for a quick drink. It's a cool little brewery that also offers food. Had we not already eaten we would have definitely grabbed something off their menu, it all looked delicious.

We went for the beer, but the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Try the chili and frito pie. Save room for dessert. The beer was also very good. I recommend the Apache Amber. Our server, Ellen, showed a lot of patience with us!

How can a brewery run out of one its flagship beers is a question that I have tonight, and they don't make it clear despite still advertising it on their chalkboard. Hugely disappointing that they're out of beer, and the food is okay. Not too much else to say about this place.

Very nice brewery! Enjoyed the stout beer. The cask condition pale ale was very good. Really liked the location. Right on the river walk. Jesus our server was a wonderful, patient and kind. He seemed to know what I wanted before I ordered my beer. Good at explaining the choices. The food was good. Enjoyed the whole evening. Thanks so... More

Bluestar brews its own beers in a variety of styles. Not being a craft beer fan its all lost on me. The food is good and various live music makes its way out of the back room. Funky, loud setting.

This brewery is right next to the River Walk, so you can stop by for a special brew if you're out for a stroll or a bike ride. There's a large deck to sit out and enjoy a meal or a drink. Good sandwiches and burgers.

We didn't eat here, but the beer was excellent. Staff was attentive. I hear it's a great place at night, but we didn't want that kinda scene.
