This place has the absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever seen. Yes I have to admit the food was delicious and I would have chosen them as our caterer for our wedding if the customer service was better and if LIZA there catering Manager had not stood us up on 3/18/2017. We had this tasting set up... More

We had dinner as a family here after an afternoon at the park. The place is rustic with wooden picnic tables and some booth seating inside. Outside are wooden picnic tables with umbrellas and a nice playground for the kids. When you walk in, the smell of deliciously smoked meats makes you hungry! They have individual plates along with family... More

Nothing fancy here, just great tasting food. Tough to decide whether the ribs or the brisket were better than the other, they were both excellent. Don't expect a plate and silverware, just drop the meal on the picnic table and dig in. Sides of beans, potato salad and pretty good pickled jalapeno peppers will help fill in any holes.

I really like this restaurant. We went in just before closing, but the staff was still really nice and everything was great. It's a really cool restaurant. The iced tea comes in igloo coolers. There's a good beer selection, and a really fun outdoor area with lots of picnic tables and a playground for kids. One of the guys that... More

I went there the day after I went to the famed Lockhart on a BBQ Crawl. I really liked the set up and how its got trees everywhere. Great place to eat and have a couple of beers and hang out. Oh and the Brisket was great there.

Although hard to find for a visitor, especially with road construction detours, this downhome Texas bbq place is the real deal. Nothing fancy at all about the inside, just great tasting bbq at relatively low prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the brisket (great) and the pulled pork (most tender & juicy we have had.) In... More

This is not only an unimpressive (but very clean) building but it is actually hidden behind a "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurant (which I have not tried, to be fair) among huge oak trees. You have to be looking for it to find it. No walk in traffic. BTU, it serves simply the best BBQ imaginable.

Went here for lunch and had the brisket and sausage with creamed corn. The brisket was moist and lean, the sausage was very good also. I am partial to creamed corn and this one was quite good. Everything here is a la carte, so the cost of a lunch can grow quickly, but the food is very good. Iced tea... More

Tired of eating Mexican food, so drove 8 miles north of downtown to a quaint downhome BBQ place sitting in a stand of live oaks. Super tender and yummy. Had pulled pork and beef brisket. Lots of indoor and outdoor picnic tables to take your food to.
