We stopped in on a Saturday not fully realizing it was a pub type of place (guess the "brew" in the name should've been a giveaway). We decided to eat anyway and there was enough of a selection on the menu for each of us to find something (two of us being vegetarian). My husband said the burger was good.... More

We had a great dinner here, delicious and plenty. Drinks are huge. Service is fantastic. This is one of our main stops when we visit Salem.

Been here about 20 times in my culinary life... Pretty consistent. Bartender Mike is always nice. The crowd is just surly...Tonight was the worst...walked in to a obnovious patron/ regular that accused my husband of being rude for taking two of four seats that were open and assumed these should have been reserved for her friends BTW ...plenty of seats... We were walking back to our hotel (Salem Waterfront) from House of Seven Gables. The name and the Hocus Pocus art on the window seemed inviting to tourists, so we decided to stop by here for a quick bite, instead of the hotel restaurant. The restaurant was pretty dead when we walked in, a few people at the bar, and... More

We arrived at Witches Brew at 4:30pm to a sign on the door that said "Open at 5:00pm". We had a party of 8 so we decided to wait as we figured it would be difficult to get a table at that time. We watched the owner sitting inside at the bar with his staff having drinks as we anxiously... More

We stopped at this restaurant on our way to the Derby House and the House of the Seven Gables. The food was standard fare with reasonable prices.

While in Salem a week before the Halloween, we tried several times to get in but the line was incessantly packed. Finally, we were able to get on November 1st, dinner time. The place was still full but a lot more relaxed. It is a quaint cafe, nice decor on the outside and the main dining area has a far... More

First night in Salem, since 2012. The Witches Brew was the lucky restaurant we chose. TWO THUMBS UP! I had the Witches Brew Steak and the Crab Meat Stuffed Mushrooms...deliciousness! Witches Brew Steak was a good size portion, along with the mushrooms. Atmosphere was great and our server was professional and had a great attitude. We had a 2 and... More
