I visited Pancho Villas Grill around a week ago, it's a nice clean restaurant close to the down town area on 4th AVE. They serve a large amount of great Mexican dishes that you can't find at many Mexican restaurants. I have been living in Tucson for over 6 years and grew up in a border town my whole childhood.... Authentic Mexican dishes that I have not seen in any other Mexican restaurants in town. Prepared by the owner with pride and love, this food is really tasty. The salsa bar is a nice touch, but beware the habanero sauce - HOT!!

We had a veggie burro and a carne asada burro, two iced teas for under $20. Both burros were good and tasty. Couldn't finish the veggie one, so we took it to go. Their chips are fresh and really good, the salsas are nicely spiced. It looks like a bar, a little old and needs some touch ups, but the... More

After reading some good reviews, we tried this place for a casual dinner. It is a little old and tired looking inside and despite the beer on the menu the waitress told us that they aren't currently serving alcohol due to a "problem with the inspection". Not sure what that meant. The food was fine and there is a small... More

It's kind of dirty-looking inside and cluttered. The chips and salsas are nothing special. The food looked good but the birria taco didn't have a lot of flavor. The shrimp taco was OK.

There were flies on the inside windows and a hair in the salsa. Service was slow and there was no offer of chip or water refills. Food was average.

What a nice place! Traveling through Tucson, we were invited to try the Pancho Villa Grill by old friends. Good service; good food; we did not find the prices to be too high. Give it a try!

Good food, but over priced. I can get similarly good food from other Mexican fast food places like the Taco Shop Co.

My boyfriend and I have eaten at Pancho's several times, and every time the food has been excellent. I love their green corn tamales, and my boyfriend always gets the carne asada. It is much better than most other Mexican places we have tried in Tucson. The service is decent; they are always working hard & are friendly, even if... More
