It had been a number of years since we dined here. Our dinner started off great. Warm chips, delicious salsa and outstanding margaritas. But it went downhill fast from there. The menu is not as extensive as other Mexican restaurants and is very expensive. I had steak fajitas that had an odd grill taste. The flour tortillas were very dry.... More

I always enjoy a meal at GFG! I'm an enchilada fan, but their menu options have me trying something new every visit. I have never been disappointed in the meal or the service. Add a margarita ...and I'm happy as a tamale in a corn husk!

We had not been here since they had a fire years ago. This is the best place in Tucson! We each had something different I had tilapia fajitas. The guys had enchiladas 3 different kinds, beef, chicken and pork. Another member of our group had shrimp. Everything was excellent.

Wonderful service at this restaurant. They start your table off with custom salsa making. They bring many different ingredients, as what you like, and mix it right there at the table. Our group had different preferences, so we were able to get a few different salsa's to match our personal taste.

Very disappointed. First time visiting since the rebuilding after fire. Looks like a typical sports bar with TV'S and bar in middle. Now a back entrance only. Brought me the wrong food. Then could not order lunch menu. We were there for lunch. $40 bill and only drank water. Loved the old Guadalajara. Hate the new. Slow service. Very disappointed.... More

Stopped for a quick lunch. Monday special was good, service was slow - food came out quickly but check was slow coming. Salsa was good.

New restaurant on oracle. It took over the Macayo restaurant. The restaurant has been renovated. Nice job. Food is good. Prices moderate.

After seeing a movie in East Tucson we walked to a nearby Mexican restaurant for a Margarita. The bartender asked if we wanted chips and salsa and we declined (we'd had some earlier in the day). Then he said they make the SALSA ON DEMAND and it's FREE!!! Oh yeah! It was a large bowl of deliciousness. I've had places... More

From the unlimited homemade chips to the tableside made salsa and guacamole to large portions of great food. This is a wonderful place to dine. Be prepared to tip the preparer of your salsa and if you want the Mariachi Band to play you a song at your table you should also be prepared to slip them a few bucks.... More

After a long drive to Tucson for the Rock and Gem Show, and very small lunch, we were ready to chow down some supper and the Guadalajara Grill did not disappoint! The table side freshly prepared salsa was by far the best I have ever tasted! An appetizer of jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp was exquisitely tasty. My chicken fajitas arrived... More
