My husband devoured the Guaymas shrimp...again. And he liked his Margarita. I had the shrimp and scallop enchiladas. Delicious! Excellent beans, too. I was surprised with an excellent martini. Very friendly service. Can't wait to return

Authentic and unassuming with the best mole I have ever experienced. All dishes are delicious and the staff is always happy to help you decide what to order. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our weekday lunch here in this tucked-away niche in the Plaza Palomino Shopping Center with fresh, flavorful chips and salsa (little hot for our taste) and delicious margaritas. My husband and I shared "Numero Quatro" with a fish taco, a cheese enchilada and a beef tamale. We are not big eaters so it was the perfect amount of food... More

We visited La Placita for the first time yesterday- it's excellent. Two of us had specialty margaritas which were really nice. The carne seca was absolutely delicious. The food is freshly made, traditional and very good. The service was very attentive without being overbearing. We'll definitely be going back.

Excellent food, good service and quite dining experience. I highly recommend La Placita! The have great carne seca, mole sauce, enchiladas. We enjoy it because it's such a great, central location. Plenty of parking, large dining room.

This little charmer, tucked away at the back of Plaza Palomino, continues to delight and surprise me. It has an intimate setting and a few tables outside as well, and good, friendly service. I've had many items on the menu, a few of which have missed to be honest, but diners should enjoy the specialties -- especially the mole. Nothing... More

I have been eating at La Placita for years and it is a little gem! Pleasant surroundings, great food and good service. If this restaurant were in a more visible location, it would be bustling all the time.

It's tucked away in the Plaza Palomino shopping center off Swan Road, so a little hard to find. We have never had a disappointing meal and we have eaten there a number of times. Most recently, I had the shrimp and scallop enchiladas, and my husband chose the chili colorado plate. The food was excellent and the service friendly, as... More

This was our first visit to La Placita Cafe. The homemade tortilla chips were great. We ordered the Combo Fajitas and were very pleased. The food was very good with generous portions. The waitperson was friendly and attentive. We live on the other side of town but would definitely come back.

We went there mid week for lunch on the 2 for 1 card. We arrived early prior to opening and believe me you will not be served until opening time. The food was typical Mexican, I had Chili Colorado (red) and my wife had chicken mole. Both served with rice & beans on huge platters. We also had guacamole that... More
