The title says it all. It's a big restaurant with a lot of character. They have decorated it to be an American's ideal of what Mexico is like. The Mariachi band makes for a comically musical evening. The margaritas are the size of a small...More

Huge margaritas start you off to a wide variety of Mexican dishes. This place is always busy but the wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Made on the spot guamole is not to be missed. Don’t be surprised if you are serenaded!

We enjoyed 2 great meals, the Plato Capitan and Chili Nogado. Both were excellent as was Jorge’s service. The salsa made at our table was superb.

Strolling musicians and salsa made at your table are highlights. The shrimp burrito was huge and made correctly without beans. I can't begin to say how many times we've ended up with beans after requesting no beans. Great job!!!

Arrived in Tucson and met family/friends at this restaurant. They make the salsa right in front of you and put big bowls of it on your table. Everything is big it seems. Got the lobster enchiladas and the Mexican Paella. All was amazing. Busy place...More

Freshly made salsa at your table and strolling musicians make this a fun and entertaining place, and the food is great as well. We had fajitas and they were amazing! Don’t miss this restaurant while in Tucson. It is the full experience!

It varies. Often roving musicians drop in and will play if there is enough people there, usually after 6:00pm. Weekends may have a set schedule. Call the restaurant for more information.
