I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants but never one with this much flavor it’s food! You’ve got to try this place! Nice little family owned restaurant now on generation number three with the same recipes that came from their grandmother. Great service as...More

I believe that the cuisine is more from southern Mexico than Sonora, and it's on the spicy side (that's what beer is for!). Mushroom enchiladas are a surprise, and very good, too!

I try to eat vegetarian as much as I can and sometimes in a Mexican restaurant that can be challenging. I commend La Indita for a special vegetarian menu. I ordered the eggplant enchiladas but to my disappointment the delicate flavor of the eggplant was...More

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch on a Saturday. The waitress was fabulous, such personality. The chips and salsa are some of the best in Tucson. The Indian taco was freshly prepared and delicious. The flat enchiladas were perfectly made. We also tried...More

Authentic food with some interesting choices on the menu. The place is small, and when we visited, it seemed short staffed. Our server was attentive, but we had to wait for the check. However, the food was delicious, and I would definitely return.

There are Mexican restaurants galore in Tucson, and La Indita is one of the best. Unpretentious, reasonably priced, and good people doing good work in the community. Try the non-fried Indian Taco and the Chicken Mole. Yumalicious!

We loved the good a few years back when visiting Tucson, so we put it in our list to dine here again. Casual restaurant close to campus. Food is so fresh! Salsa and guacamole were delicious, as were the chips that accompanied them. Good beer...More

It's not fancy or upscale, but it's Good homestyle food. Several of the dishes are influenced by the local native American cuisine, such as the red chile beef and the frybread tacos. Near the university.

Ended up here by accident when we ran into folks trying to find it on someone else's recommendation. So we joined them. Family run with home-cooked Mexican fare, tasty and reasonably priced, interior is funky plain (and there's an outside patio.) No margaritas (beer and...More
