We tried the 1/2 pound BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and the 1/2 pound BBQ brisket sandwich for lunch recently. My wife gave the pulled chicken a very good rating but the frozen bagged crinkled-cut fries were below average. The BBQ brisket appeared to have been sliced on a meat cutter, was relatively dry, and crumbled apart. The brisket would be... More

I usually avoid hotel restaurants, but they take restaurant.com coupons so we tried it and have been back several times. The food is good, although maybe a bit over priced. The atmosphere is nice, the service good. It is conveniently located to the Tucson airport so great for a nice meal before flying out, or just for an evening out.... More

R&R BBQ has gone through openings and closings and then only catering, and now the restaurant is open again. The place is only open Thursdays through Saturdays. It is our favorite BBQ. The whole rack of ribs easily feeds two. One can purchase pulled pork or beef brisket by the pound and can get BBQ sauce on the side. There... More

R & R Barbecue is now called R&R Family Kitchen. They have moved and they are now at 7230 E 22nd street. They have the BEST Philley Cheese barbeque pork sandwich. Is to die for!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited to see they are even closer to where I live. Going there for dinner tonight it is their Grand opening. They... More

Food and service (White Bold Fat Guy took my order) sucks. Last time to step foot in that restaurant. :(

Can't believe the number of people complaining about the ribs. Ribs aren't really BBQ - they just have BBQ sauce on them. That's like going to a Mexican restaurant and complaining about their burgers. The actual BBQ at R and R is some of the best we've ever tasted. And we're from North Carolina, so we know BBQ.

Tonight we visited R&R on Houghton for the first time. The restaurant was fairly barren and you order at the counter. We arrived at around 6:45 PM. The menus were a bit confusing and prices seemed a bit high for this type of service. Finally we both decided on the ribs and more dinner. This adds a meat side and... More

To the angry reviewer from KC: "I beg you, I emplore you, I beseetch you; consider the posibility that you might be wrong." I too have eaten my fare share of BBQ (America's only real contribution to global cuisine) and the best thing about R&R is that it is different. It is not KC, Carolina, St Louis, or Texas. It... The WORST bbq I've ever eaten. The ribs appeared to have been boiled and the brisket had almost no taste. Being from KC, and having eaten bbq in many other places, I know what bbq is supposed to taste like. This isn't it. I'm not sure they have any idea how to even prepare bbq. I doubt they even have...
