Live music, tiki bar decor and island-inspired drinks makes you forget that the waterfront is a river in Colorado instead of the ocean!

Menu consists mostly of hot dogs and brats of various meats (beef, elk, etc.). You can add chili or other usual hot dog toppings. My favorite thing was the fried pickles, which were done as spears in a heavy cornmeal breading with a side of ranch. Very flavorful with the breading complimenting the pickle well. The bar seemed fun but... More

This is such a fun restaurant with good food and cocktails. The tropical theme is festive and the outdoor patio along the creek is a great place to eat or enjoy a drink. The owners are attentive and fun to chat with too!

We loved sitting out watching the river and enjoying classic, bison, and elk dogs. The onion rings are amazing! Price was a but high for basic foods. Would not recommend the chili.

Ate here for lunch, so Tiki Bar side is closed. You go inside to the little area to order & then sit outside to wait for them to bring your food. The cashier & the cook were very friendly & helpful. We were able to sit by the river, which was nice. We all thought the food was pretty good,... More

Excellent atmosphere, TERRIBLE food and pricing. After a long day hiking and exploring RMNP, my girlfriend and I stopped by for a couple burgers. We ordered from the outdoor counter and were def somewhat skeptical about $8.95 burgers not including cheese or fries. Worse than I expected... Burger was literally the size of a fast food Dollar menu burger, way... More

Mountain Munchies opened May 2005, serving the best hot dogs in Estes Park, Colorado. The Tiki Bar was added in 2010, making the place rock all summer long. We have live music every Friday and Saturday night. Our bartenders make boat drinks from real fruit and juices, they make the best mojitos in the Rocky Mountains, and they are the friendliest bartenders in town. The Tiki Bar has the largest selection of rum in Northern Colorado, ask about our rum runners club. So if you want that island experience when visiting the mountains, a place where you can escape the downtown bustle and sit next to the Big Thompson River on our outdoor patio, the only place to be is the TIKI BAR. Come, sit, and stay on our patio by the Big Thompson river where the boat drinks are made fresh, the staff is laid back and the Island music never stops. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Best outdoor patio in Estes Park, Colorado, with the Rocky Mountain National Park in the background. Hang out where the locals party!
