Stopped here for lunch after hiking. Very pleasant surroundings in the lounge area, friendly staff and good portioned and reasonably priced burger. Exterior of the hotel and surroundings are great for photos and of course there is 'The Shining' connection.

Great place for a celebration dinner. Beautiful bison meatballs, great deconstructed ceaser salad. Lovely Colorado wild game meatloaf. Our server Roger was great, even comped a birthday dessert.

Definitely call ahead to reserve a table in this amazing restaurant. It deserves its reputation for every good thing anyone has ever said about it. We did not stay at the Stanley, but reservations are easy to make. Cascades is right next to the Whiskey Bar, so the general vibe is open and friendly. We were seated right away, our... More

We stopped at The Stanley on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel is stunning. I would recommend stopping here to take in the history. The food at Cascades was good, but it was a fairly limited menu.

We had a party of 7 and were seated in a lovely almost private room. The service was exceptional, with Tami giving us great suggestions and stories. Loved the foie gras was delicious, but small. The elk tenderloin was fabulous. The game meatloaf was tasty. The gnocchi with hen was a little to lemony but the hen was great. Good... More

My husband and I made the drive up to the Cascades given we had an amazing time earlier this year. Trying something different we made a reservation instead of sitting at the bar. We got seated right away as expected, then a server who initially greets us says another server will be taking us. A bit later she returns with... More

Pretty good but I balk at paying $4 for a cup of coffee per person at breakfast. I'm not a big breakfast person. Just toast. They didn't offer it on menu but accommodated. My husband had Denver omelet and said it was good. Wait staff friendly.

My husband made a reservation here for my birthday dinner and when we showed up they had no record of our reservation and almost didn't seat us. As I was looking for an alternative restaurant in Estes Park they said they would seat us but the hostess noted that this was typical for the restaurant and unrecorded reservations had already... After our 4 pm Stanley Hotel tour about the paranormal activities there, we decided on dinner at this fine restaurant. Service was excellent but the food was above excellent. We had the fresh beet salad for starters then onto the main course. I had the bison and venison bacon wrapped meatloaf and my other half had the filet minion. The... More
