Grab a 6pack of tacos....awesome food, great salsa, they are deep fried and you can get chicken or beef.

Most don't know the difference between NM food and Mexican...NM food doesn't use Lard and is a little lighter. This is the place to avoid all the nasty stuff found in Mexican food. NM food is done right at pericos.

It's been many years since I visited this small restaurant chain in Albuquerque so, after a quick run to Home Depot one morning I stopped in for breakfast. This Perico's is located in the same open mall as the Home Depot at Coors and I-40. I was hoping for some old fashion New Mexican food at an old fashion price...and... More

Went on a Thursday night. There was a short line but it was less than 12 minutes from the time we walked in till the time we got our food. We had enchiladas and the special, a flauta plate. I liked the refried beans; on the thicker side, not watery, and with a distinct smoky flavor. Portions were plenty large... More

I'm going to start by saying that I haven't lived in the Southwest in 25 years, so that could be impacting my opinion of Perico's, but despite the great customer service, I didn't like my food. My burrito was very wet on the inside and the meat was reminiscent of the chicken found in chicken and dumplings. Outside of the... More

While visiting in Albuquerque, I have decided to try out as many Mexican restaurants as I can. This one was the first recommendation I got and I was pleased with the entire experience. I am especially happy to finally be in the part of the country that knows how to cook a real Chili Relleno!! YUMM! They did a great... More

If you're looking for fine dining, Perico's is not your restaurant. If you're looking for a hole-in-the-wall type local establishment, this is probably more in your realm of possibilities. The food is decent. The restaurant was clean (even if a bit older). The sopas are absolutely fantastic. We've eaten there a few times and the customer service has always been... More

We stop in when me and my son are doing Home improvement jobs. This one is located in the Home depot parking lot. The food is actually great. Good portions and huge cokes. cheap place to get a quick meal.

This was my second visit to Pericos. My first visit was OK, so I returned with my wife on this visit. I ordered the tostado plate special. Before the food was ready I asked the clerk for the WiFi password. “The manager has that, I don’t”. Hmm? In typical Albuquerque “We don’t care and you can’t make us” style he... More
