Ordered the Tuesday special. Flautas just ok, beans gummy and cool, rice was tasteless. Gal at the counter overcharged us, said the drinks were 2.30 when the menu said 1.90. And then charged us for 3...won't go back.

Been eating here most of my life, I I get the tacos with ground beef, they're red and green chile very good, enchiladas are good and for sure, get the Menudo with their fresh Tortillas, even at different locations always been good and very authentic to New Mexico food.

We love this place for breakfast. They have specials during the week for about $5.99. You get a whole lot of food, and will not go home hungry. This is authentic New Mexican food.

Had the brisket tacos and they were outstanding. I would eat here again. The food was take out and not dine in. Either way, this is a good restaurant.

I've reviewed the 4th/Mountain Road Garcia's a couple of times, but this morning's breakfast deserves a special comment. Today was their manager's birthday, and the staff brought in a small mariachi group to serenade her. As an employee, do you like YOUR boss this much? As customers, we benefited from the special occasion and delightful music. As always, the food... More

High priced average food. My wife is a better cook. I went to the one in the valley and it was lousy.

I'm fairly new to New Mexico. I was with two friends who have lived their lives here (45 - 55 yrs.) It was so delicious even if I got a giggle for getting toast (wheat instead of tortillas) and for putting catchup on my potatoes instead of tobacco or such.) I would recommend anyone coming to Duke City go eat... More

We wanted to get some green chili in our system right after landing in Albuquerque. So we started heading for the closest Garcia's to get our mile high equilibrium corrected with some Hatch green chili! Garcia's has survived the trendy places coming and going by keeping to the simpler formula of nice quality high volume New Mexican food. We were... More

This is the original site of what has become a small chain of New Mexican restaurants spread around Albuquerque. It won't win any awards for elegance, with an order-at-the-counter format and the dishes served on plastic plates, but that's not what you go there for; rather, it's the extensive menu of New Mexican and Southwestern dishes, at a good price,... The red can be really hot but this is good, inexpensive New Mexican food and is traditional Albuquerque style. Yum! A long-standing tradition in NM is to stop at one of the Garcia's locations and eat 'til you sweat. You can't go wrong with blue corn chicken enchiladas and Christmas style chile.
