And that is saying a lot. For starters I absolutely loved the atmosphere. Darker on the inside which helped add to the romantic overall feel and much more welcoming than the sterile and bright colors that so many newer restaurants have adopted. Even had candles...More

Don't be put off by the commercial property exterior. The inside is nicely done and the food, portions and quality, are very good. A stock and trade list of offerings but he margaritas were excellent. Convenient to the airport hotels for business travelers with gas...More

One of my favorite New Mexican places. Very good food although it tends to be hotter than some, especially the red chile. Very authentic food and very well prepared. The enchiladas are excellent. The service can be a little slow at times

Always loved the food at Cervantes... and don't forget a Silver Coin margarita! I wouldn't have more than one or two, though. ;)

This place is a bit off the beaten path. It is not too far from the airport. Locals eat there and have for decades. The food is authentic New Mexican. The green chile enchiladas are wonderful. The sopapillas are almost as good as my grandmother...More

Stopped by for lunch while visiting Albuquerque. This restaurant has been open since the 1970s. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, as were the wait staff. Had a vegetarian tostada plate that was excellent and filling. Will definitely visit here on my next visit to...More

If you like red chile & green chile, I mean the REAL stuff - Cervantes is the place to go! Remember, for the best of both order red & green (often called "Christmas") and order it SMOTHERED on anything you order. For the perfect meal,...More

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. Up until then I only had sopapillas as dessert!
