Was in the mood for Japanese food and just happened to see this restaurant and suggested we try it. Sat at the bar and had Saki, my friends had beer (they do not have hard liquor), and sushi while we waited for a table. The Hibachi meal was enjoyed by all of us. Would recommend this restaurant.

The food and atmosphere was a lot of fun! The kids meals are ridiculous, $9 and they got a few meals worth! If we lived here we would come pretty often. Awesome in all areas!

At the back of a strip center you find this restaurant. The food and service are very good. Prices are reasonable. Good for lunch and dinner.

We went in the late afternoon and it was amazing. The waitress was super nice and attentive. We didn't sit at the grill area we sat at a general table because we have small children, but the atmosphere was still as fun. The prices are reasonable and the plates are large enough to share with your kids. They have a... More

Joined family for Bday dinner - fun and tasty evening! Our "chef" did an outstanding job. Very professional and entertaining. The food was very good and plentiful! Facility appeared to be well run and adequately staffed. During our visit we were able to enjoy Kiren draft at happy hour prices!

Love to eat lunch at the teppan grill. Nice selection of sushi also. Quiet place at lunchtime makes a nice break during a busy day.

Went there for the first time to check it out. The service was great and the staff was great. My steak and shrimp was quite good. My wife ordered the twin lobster and it was so salty she could not eat much of it. We will probably try it again but tell the chef to limit the salt..

Four of us on way from airport and hungry but not wanting meat oriented chain experience. Place is dark during the day. Food okay. Hibachi salmon was thick with sauce, Japanese onion soup was poor. Other dishes rated jus okay. Sushi included. Wasabi and ginger seemed fresh.

Our party of 4 adults were seated with a party of 6, which included 2 young children and a baby. The children were very well behaved. Our drink order was taken as well as our dinner order. Our food was to be cooked with great flair using the teppan-yaki style on a hibachi grill. Our chef arrived and startled the... More

Hayashi is clearly organized around the concept of "hibachi" (actually Japanese "teppan-yaki" cooking. The bulk of the restaurant's seating is organized around a dozen or so flattop grills ("teppan" to the Japanese). There are a few non-teppan tables, and a long, L-shaped sushi bar as well. Alcohol is also available. The food here follows the teppan formula - fried rice,... More
