I visit Flying Star frequently! This is the perfect spot to get coffee and meet with friends. The food is always good and the desserts are outstanding. Sometimes I go by myself for coffee and to get work done on my computer. The food is a tad pricey as the salads are usually around $15+, but they are delicious. You... More

Flying Star is such a NM treasure. The menu is a combination of Panera and Denny's, but delicious, local and organically-leaning. Breakfast is served all day, homemade pastries and desserts, mac n cheese, burgers, salads and sandwiches. They serve the best side salad I've ever had! The atmosphere is family friendly. The only complaint I've heard is that it's slightly... More

I've gotten more in health food eating as of recent, and this place definitely catered to that! Great menu selection and good tasting food for a fair price. I loved the inside atmosphere of the place a well.

A wide variety of dishes available any time of day. Ordering is simple and efficient. The food is quickly prepared and consistently appetizing. The atmosphere is friendly and the counter staff are the best.

Flying Star is a staple in the healthy grub and decadent dessert category. It's great for after a long bike ride to refuel but not overdo. The fresh ingredients used in their creations are an excellent reason to eat here. The down side to this is that the menu has changed and the prices have gone up that I can't... More

Flying Star on Corrales Road is one of my most favorite places to work on online courses and grade papers. It's spacious booths with big windows overlooking the bosque are delightful. I generally run into someone I know, which is delightful. You can sit there and work for a long time--in the booths you don't really hear or overhear conversations.... More

Coffee, no matter how you doctor it is not good. Service is just average as is food. Sweets look good but from everything we tried have had better elsewhere. Great place to meet friends or fly solo. Have magazine and places to plus in lap tops and phones. Just wish coffee was better.

We visited the flying Star Café for the first time this week, and we were blown away. I had the mac & cheese melt… Yes mac & cheese melt. And it was awesome. My husband ordered the Californian, not realizing it was a pure vegetarian sandwich :-) he thought it was a burger, but it was a very good sandwich.... More

I went for the Breakfast Sunday: Greek yogurt with a bunch of fruit. I also had a fruit tart which was scrumptious. It felt so good to have something that wasn't the usual stuff you find on the road. The service was fast and fun.
