We stopped for gas and the billboard"best Laguna burger". We ordered a burger and fries. 20 mn later we got our burger and very cold fries which we didn't eat. The burger was great! Service extremely slow and very unfriendly. If you have the time stop, otherwise drive on!

Good tasting beef and fresh veggies would make this a good burger on its own. But adding green chile with just enough heat in the to let you know it's there, but not enough to traumatize folks fearing too much heat, makes it darned near perfect. The cafe was not too busy when we were there but it still took... More

See my 3/20/16 review, which listed 3 places to get a Laguna Burger. The other 2 places are The Great American Diner and Café 108, both of which are inside the Dancing Eagle Casino off I-40 exit 108. I recently stopped at the 66 Pit Stop off I-40 exit 114, near the Old Laguna village. Was tempted to get a... More

Sitting here at the counter waiting for a hamburger and grilled cheese. Been waiting over a half hour now. Some people waiting 50+ minutes and verbally airing frustrations barely met with an apology. To say the service is lackadaisical is an understatement. There is zero sense of urgency, but at least people are kind of moving. Huge amounts of unused... More

When traveling I-40 through Albuquerque this little dive is a must stop if you're hungry! The World Famous Laguna Burger is a half pound burger loaded with green chiles, cooked over open flame and delicious! It's a small greasy spoon in the Pit Stop gas station and is packed every time I stop here. Hand cut fries not cooked until... More

We ordered the Laguna burger and were not disappointed. This is undoubtedly one of the best hamburgers we have ever eaten. The addition of green chiles has made us permanent fans of the Laguna burger.

First of all, the burger with the green chiles was excellent. The fries were good, although not as good as the burger. I tried the Frito pie, which is merely nachos with Frito chips instead of tortilla chips. Sadly, the Frito pie was uninspiring. The gentleman who sat at the table next to us loved his. He scarfed down a... More

Exit 140 off I-40. Call ahead if you do not want to wait a while (505-352-7848), though I assure you, it'll be worth the wait. Laguna Burger combo is a must try. Whenever I am on the 40, I try to time it in such a way that I can get one, because they really are that good.
