Nick & Jimmy's is very short on atmosphere. The decor is beige on brown. That said, I think it is some of the best food for the best value in town. Most meals come with a soup or salad, a starch and a vegetable....a full meal. I had the Greek patitsio ($14.95) which was excellent and accompanied by any imaginable... More

We arranged for our holiday party to be hosted by Nick & Jimmy's. We had 21 guests and they attended to us as if it were a party of 4 (meaning we didn't wait forever). I worked with Michael to set up the menu ahead of time so the kitchen would also be prepared. The room reserved for us was... More

Nick and Jimmy's features Greek food paired with local New Mexican food. It's an unlikely mating, but it works well. The New Mexican posole is excellent. And the stuffed grape leaves, or dolmades, are equally so. We'll be going back!

I had the chicken souvlaki for dinner. The chicken kabobs were excellent. The seasoning used was delicious. The greek potatoes were also excellent. The steamed vegetables were just ok - pretty much tasteless. My dinner came with bread and oil with spices. It also came with a very good greek house salad. The bread and oil/spices were terrific. All in... More

After church today our family, 13, of us visited for lunch. We were wowed with their selection of 3 course lunches for only $13.95! Our server Michelle created a wonderful experience. The green chile meatloaf, chicken fried steak and Greek combination plate were all wonderful. We ordered a variety of soup and salad all of which were very good. Loved... More

Wow! My wife and I tried this place for the first time last night and WHAT A TREAT !!! Its a Greek Mediterranean menu and we were impressed! One of the owners was there visiting every table and made us feel welcome as though we were at his personal home dining room table. We had a great bottle of Chianti,... More

When in Abq, we usually dine at the sister restaurant: El Patron. Finally made to this spot, and now we have another "got to go there" restaurant. Offers an enormous, varied menu. We were there on Sunday evening and took advantage of the Sunday special Menu: Choice of Soup or Salad, 5 or 6 entrees, and dessert for $13.95! And... More

Never expected a superb Greek restaurant in Albuquerque! We just love lamb, so needless to say, that's what we had. Exquisite! Tender, perfectly flavored with herbs (and lots of garlic), and perfectly done. Service was excellent. Word of caution - if you order the chili soup, be ready to spray a fire extinguisher in your mouth!

We made reservations for 10 of us on Friday, October 2nd, the opening weekend of the Hot Air Balloon Festival. They were very accommodating and seated us in a private dining area. Our waiter, Tony, was excellent!!! He explained all the specials, and made sure we had everything we needed. After sampling a complimentary appetizer, we all thought our meals... More
