There is no where you can get poblano soup like here! It is the best I have ever had! Love the croutons that comes with the soup! Promise you will be addicted after the first spoonful!

I've been hearing about this place for a while and the amazing poblano soup so I finally gave it a try. I ordered a 1/2 Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwich and bowl of the poblano soup. To be honest, the sandwich looked pretty small but it was very good. I personally did not care for the pickles but everyone else thought... More

Well I had read the reviews on trip advisor and soup was great plus I loved the toast crisps that came with it. We were on our way to hotel so we took it to go. Next time I go I want to try their pimento cheese sandwich .

My husband and I really enjoyed this café. We had a lunch special which was a roast beef sandwich that was filled sky high with fixings, cactus fries (yum) and that great poblano soup. All of that for a good price. The wait staff is so friendly and the art and atmosphere in the café is great. Will return there... More

My boyfriend and I stopped in here after some time on the beach. It was nearly closing time but they were more than happy to provide us with a great selection of their daily specials. We had one of the best turkey sandwiches we've ever had and a great big glass of tea. The staff was super nice and The... More

Had a great meal today. They mistakenly skipped our ticket, but waiter caught it and didn't charge us for the tea. Poblano soup was the best

Nuevo Cafe is know for the Pablano Soup! It is fantastic. If you like a little spice this is the dish to try. Also they make homemade pimento cheese that is so delicious. The atmosphere is very Austinish which is quite cool.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim and I'm so glad that we did. Our order was to go so we grabbed a menu and talked to the nice lady behind the counter, made our decisions and proceeded to wait for our food. While we waited we chatted with the staff who, upon hearing it was our first visit, brought... More
