This restaurant is an updated industrial space with a lot of room and high ceilings. It is an interesting spot. Modern and unusual. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with the Water Street Rice. The rice was great; unusual like a dirty rice and very flavorful. The shrimp were crab stuffed with a little cream cheese. My server was very... More

Written on their blackboard was "Creole Shrimp" and inquired about it. Sounds like it's so popular that it's only available when supplies last as the shrimp and most everything there is caught in the Gulf. Great service and fast!!

The problem with dining in Corpus is that sooo many restaurants are chain restaurants. I'm tired of the same ole stuff. Water street oster company has been around for a while now. I've always eaten at their restaurant, which honestly has gone down in quality. I had seen that they have a new restaurant on the same property, only next... More

I love this place. It's laid back but still has the upscale feel to it. Food was quickly out and the service was spot on. They have a lot of early bird specials at great prices. My wife's new favorite place to go. Give it a try.

This is our Sunday lunch place or rather brunch because my husband loves their Egg Benedict dishes on the brunch menu. But you can get sushi or seafood or a burger or a salad. They have group soup. I love their wedge salad. Their fried shrimp is great. We love this place and continue to go there on a regular... More

didn't like the waiter's attitude not friendly with the foreign language, food came late without taking care of special requests. although they give 15% discount still we didn't enjoy our meal and spent money for getting a bad mood

I felt like they should have given me the 1/2 price raw oysters as I was there with a large group and it took them over 45 mins to take our food order as they were getting drinks for folks as they tickled in. $20 for 1 dozen oysters is absurd! But the Sushi plate I has was very good... More

We ate during lunch. The food was delicious. We had the shrimp salad, gumbo, and shrimp quesdialla. The bread was sooo good and served with garlic butter.

My sister was in town and wanted some fresh seafood. I had three or four choices and chose this one for the ambience and history. This place is classic Corpus Christi with the food being always good and the murals on the walls. We enjoyed some oysters on the shell and some fried oysters, which were a tad overdone. Excellent... We went to the restaurant not sure what else an oyster bar would serve. However, no worries, they served everything from oysters to fish and even steaks. Service was good, food was great, prices reasonable - and it was only across the road from our hotel - Best Western

Colorado

Hi,

My husband and I have been coming to Waterstreet Oyster bar for over 9 years. We also used to go to the Waterstreet in Fort Worth when it was there. We live in Colorado and cone to Port Aransas every winter for a few months. I am originally from Fort Worth so we enjoy wintering in TX. We've already been to Waterstreet this winter 4 times and it's always good. Today we came for lunch and Trey ( or Tray) was our waiter. I informed him that I am deadly allergic to shrimp, crab, crawfish and lobster, those 4 only. I can have mollusks like oysters and scallops but have to inform the waiter so he can inform the kitchen because I can die but my husband enjoys all those things and I settle for a burger or something else as long as I know it's not cross-contaminated. I made sure Trey understood and he tried to find a menu for people who have allergies which I told him I know what to order, I JUST wanted him to let the kitchen and cook to know. I have to go through this every time I go out for a meal and like I said, I've never had a problem with your restaurant. Today, after I took a couple of bites of my bacon cheeseburger, I started having some MAJOR allergy issues, thinking I would have to use my double epi-pen! I tried to stay calm and when we left, I took some allergy medication, but didn't use the epi-pen. I still have the facial burning and feel horrible but I'm just asking you to please inform your waiters and waitresses about these deadly allergies some of us have. My husband and I brought my nephew to Waterstreet the other evening for dinner. The waitress was awesome and told me what would be safe to order and the meal was fabulous. Some of the new help need to be trained on this issue and know how serious it is.

Thank you for your time.

Cindy
