I frequent sushi joints often and found this in SLC as I will be working in SLC for the next weeks. I sat at the bar as there were no table available and the place was crowded at 6 p.m., guess SLC folks love eating...More

Tony the chef was amazing! The sever was very sweet and gave great recommendations. The wait made no sense with at least twenty seats open. Other than that, it was great!

Very nice sushi with great combinations. Try the Box-tuna yellowtail and salmon kinda roll. Not real big so you may have to wait at peak hours for a table

This was my first stop after arriving in SLC, and it was a great choice! Very cool restaurant, with creative sushi. I particularly enjoyed the Crunchy Ebi and Black Magic Woman.

Takashi has amazing sushi. Whether you order a specialty roll or sashimi or the daily special, it's always fresh. This place tends to get crowded so if you're going there to eat for lunch or dinner, try to get there ahead of the crowd. They...More

Simply put: outstanding sushi. Fish is flown in daily and of very high caliber. Folks will say it is expensive but this is misguided. Proper sushi is both expensive and worth the wait. If you want the real deal in a mountain town, you've got...More

I like takashis sushi more than any coastal places even. Couple I feel my favorite off menu rolls are fireworks and strawberry lady. Yum!

I agree with all of the foregoing. The place is too lively, active, and hip to have a little kid just sit there and crayon. That said, the waiters are all friendly and helpful so you won't get any negative stares, I don't... More

Hi! I tried booking a reservation through Open Table and they had no listing for you. Help! Six of us would like to come for dinner at a table on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 7:30pm. Can you accommodate us?

Best bet is to get there early. I tried to go back second night as a single to sit at sushi bar, madness. 50 Minute wait for sushi bar, 90 minutes for table. But worth the wait! Awesome
