Ruth's Diner has been around a very very long time and the simple reason is that it's that good. It's just a2 minutes drive up Emigration Canyon and boy are their Sunday Brunches worth enjoying. They continually serve up some of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had.

Our family loves the Sunday morning brunch. The Diner is located just a short drive from the city center, up a canyon steeped in history of the state. Would advise you go early as the wait gets pretty long later on, but the food makes it all worth the wait. The kids love to follow some of the canyon trails... More

You can't miss out on Ruth's Diner. This fun spot is an irresistible combination of beautiful location, yummy food (free enormous biscuit!!!) and laid-back atmosphere. The outdoor patio is one of the prettiest natural settings. Everyone gets a delicious free biscuit as big as your head. The menu is excellent - please try anything with the in-house smoked salmon. Ruth's Diner is such a fun place, especially in the summer when you can sit on the patio. Great food! I would go their just for their chocolate pudding, but that wouldn't be right!!

Has a train car feel to it. The biscuits they served with lunch were amazing! Don't miss the old fashioned pay phone booth.

Ruth's is a long time locals spot up Emigration Canyon. Can be crowded, but worth it. Very cool spot, good food and friendly service-great when the weather cooperates and you can sit outside!

Funky little hideaway. Soon as seated server brought delicious warm cornbread. As we had late lunch. Tried to order light. Fried mac and cheese and smoked salmon salad. Both delicious. Too much food for the two of us. Fun atmosphere. Also washroom was so clean and bright.

My food was a little better than okay but my wife ordered more wisely than me, her's was great. The service was outstanding. In warmer weather there is an outdoor dining area and it's quite romantic. This restaurant has a lot of local history and should not be missed.

Ruth's draws big crowds most days and most times. Their biscuits are great, and breakfast there is often really delicious. It's a bit pricey, but if the weather is nice, it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy the air.
