A warm atmosphere, nicely decorated, very nice waiters. The food was good in general. I recommend the lamb dish, as well as the momos. The Kalo dal was too salty and I wish there was another dal on the menu. I had fantastic dals in Nepal with more than one type of lentil.

An excellent lunch buffet. Great variety of flavorful foods, including several vegetarian options. I tried many different selections, and everything I put into my mouth was delicious. The chicken was particularly tender. Nice atmosphere, felt very much welcome. Price was extremely reasonable given the quality and variety.

Consistently wonderful delectable wide variety of Nepali/Indian dishes with captivating decorative backdrop and striking visuals (photos and slide show) of the Himalaya's, villages, rivers and life in Nepal. All of the above coupled with the genuine friendliness of Rabi & Sapkota, the owners, as well as the staff, have for years made Kathmandu a favorite whenever I visit SLC.

Kathmandu on 3142 south highland drive is the best way to explore some delicious authentic Nepali and Indian food. Popular food- top 5. 1. Chicken tikka masala. 2. Butter chicken. 3. Coconut korma( chicken, veg, lamb, shrimp) 4. Everest( chicken, lamb,Aloo) 5. Methi ( chicken, lamb, goat)

Steamy and sumptuous! A friend of ours said this is a favorite so we tried it for a late lunch. The buffet looked like a good way to sample a variety but it was late and had been out for a while, so we ordered off the menu: chicken masala and coconut chicken with raisins and nuts. Fabulous! Walked to this place for Friday dinner after a busy day. Waitress was super helpful in explaining spice levels of food. I had a lamb chili curry that was very good. My friend had a good soup and the nan was very good.

This is where we get our Indian takeout. They do the Indian dishes you love (chicken tikka masala, saag paneer) well. Or try their Nepali specialities to have a different and interesting meal.

I really am not picky with food, my boyfriend took me here one day after our yard sale looking to get some good lunch. The food wasn't the best, it almost had a stale taste, but still edible. We both got a small plate for starters and I was so unimpressed I couldn't get myself up to eat anything else.... More

Worst restaurant for Indian food ... I visited this place with my family and taste of food remembered my hostel mess food.. There is no combination of dishes .. They have bhature but not chole, have noodle but no manchurian.. No paneer dished in buffet..nothing for vegetarian, even for non-vegetarian. We almost retuned hungry even in buffet.
