Most cafes have a rather limited menu as they are designed for a quick coffee/tea with a small snack, but this one is different. The menu included a dozen choices of freshly made pizzas, hot and cold drinks, burgers, bagels, sammies, cakes, tarts and more. Breakfast is available all day, something we did not see often in our travels. Friendly... More

We stopped here for breakfast on our way from a night in Auckland and heading to our bach in Tinopai. The Eggs Benedict were the BEST I have every had (and I've had a few)! Will definitely stop in again on our way through at Christmas time!

I ordered a long black, but I couldn't finish it. I had the feeling it was percolator coffee and this I can't accept in a place that calls itself coffee.

This place has a great selection of craft beers. Saw food trucks come and park around. The place usually gets crowded and is quite vibrant.

Glass box on the corner of Queen St and Quay St with outside tables, great for a snack or a drink while touring Auckland. Good selections of beer, average snacks. However very convenient to meet up with friends or family

I revisited the Queen St Cafe recently with my elderly mother, after a long time away. I was surprised how run down the place looked, and how tired the service and food selection was. Coffee very average, food below average and uninspiring, service was slow and we had to wait while the counter staffmember was cleaning something out in the... More

Pleasant café atmosphere and staff. At 2.30pm in a near empty Café we didn't expect to wait for two toasted sandwiches for so long. We were served our Coffee before hand which were not that hot but had well finished by the time the food arrived. Food was average. With three staff members working, one other person came in while... I understand that a person can only do so much with what they have however for a Saturday morning t breakfast time I think being staffed probably is important. It took 40 mins for one meal to come out and the cafe wasn't even full. Food was good but if you're in a hurry don't bother coming here. Go somewhere... More

Having just done a road trip around the North and South Islands of NZ, I say that Judith and Leeann are the Coffee Queens of NZ - they make the best coffee full stop. Luckily I live near Warkworth and can usually park nearby the Queen Street Corner Cafe!

Love the food here and the coffee is great as well. Nice to sit outside in the summer and sample their lovely meals and cakes.
