Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely loved our stop here for lunch and a tasting! Amazing staff, easy to get too and the atmosphere inside was gorgeous. Food was melt in your mouth delicious and the tastings were unlike anything we’d ever had before. We had the single malt whiskey...tasting and the liqueur tasting and they blew our socks off. Couldn’t choose what bottle we wanted to buy at the end!More

Definitely book ahead if you plan to eat. This will change the friendliness of the staff towards you! We didn’t book and while we were given a table we were made to feel like we were being painful to the staff. The menu is designed...for sharing - small quantities of about six dishes. We had the prawns, haloumi, chicken and pork belly. All dishes were beautifully presented and tasted lovely. Dishes averaged $26 each which I think was expensive for what we got. A few of our table enjoyed the whisky tasting paddle which was a great price of $15. The setting is beautiful.More

Great place for lunch with good staff and a wide range of food and beverage choices. The share plates were a good experience with friends and the vegetarian options were a pleasant surprise

Food and whisky were very delicious. There's plenty of vegetarian food available on the menu. We, a party of 7, reached a few minutes before 2pm - kitchen closing time and the restaurant accommodated us since we placed the order immediately before 2pm. Staff is...very polite and Charlie the Master Distiller has good yarns to share about the whisky. Whisky is very tasty and the bar has a great collection of Australian whiskiesMore

Nice place for some light lunch, small simple menu for winter of 4 dishes and sides to choose from. A tad pricey of $25 each, good presentation but lack seasoning and flavour in Korea chicken and empanana, not much filling in the empanana! Lots of condiments with the...dishes. The salad was nice and freshing! Drinks were average prices ,wine $12 and Gt $15, tad expensive. Service was lovely by all staff. Food took a while to come out, about 45 mins. Would try out the summer menu next time.More

We eat here a few times a year and are never disappointed. Great Menu cooked perfectly with top service. Well worth the drive from surrounding areas and in a beautiful setting.

It’s so nice to come across a local niche business that’s a bit different from an ordinary bar. Whisky tasting flights at $30 are available to try this boutique distilleries whiskies . This is refundable if you buy a bottle. You can build your own...platter from available produce too. Lovely friendly service and indoor and outdoor seating with a lovely view.More

Was there early January 2023, bought there whiskey & honey burger mince. They are magnificent when cooked with mushrooms and cheese. Absolute a must have if your down there. Juicy but not dripping with fat like others. If they sold them in Geelong, that’s all...I would buy.More

Our lunch at Timboon Railway Shed Distillery was 10/10. Great service, relaxing & enclosed outdoor area, delicious food and a staggering great wall of drinks choices (whisky, gin and more). The complimentary tasting of their alternative spirits was greatly appreciated at the end of a...lovely meal. You must try the 'pork and pork' dish.More

Stopped in for a whiskey tasting. The overall experience was great. I thought the price of the tasting was fair but the cost of the bottle was on the high side… but saying this is recommend the experience

We stopped in on our way to Port Campbell-we partook of their tastings...one had the whisky and one the liqueurs.....which led to purchasing of a number of products . The open fire was welcome on a cold winter's day

Travelled there to try the Whisky, so pleased we made the trip. Lunch was excellent, Mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. The standout was the house made Spelt Sourdough Bread. Would have loved to have b ought a loaf, but for dining only. Staff...all very personable and friendly, knowlegable about the products and happy to chat about the place and area.More
