I really liked this place. It was a bit pricey and took a long time once we ordered a tasting to actually do the tasting. Cheese was really nice, however, and we took some along for the next part of our journey. A nice stop!

A rainy day took us on the artisan trial, we did the cheese tastings ($1 which is good value), should be taken off a purchase but not so. The menu is very limited and service a bit lacking. We chose 3 toasties, two plain and one w a smoked Salami ($30), two plain came in good time but the kids had finished and we were still waiting for the last one. They have a beautiful garden and I can imagine it’s lovely for a cheese platter (the neighbouring tables looked good) on a sunny day. The place is small, tables inside limited and would have liked to have seen a bigger menu.

What a fantastic little place. We had an amazing cheeseboard for lunch out under the trees in the gardens, and absolutely loved it. The fresh local cheese was amazing, the setting was calm and quite and the service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend anyone in the area pop in here for a snack or just to do their $1 tasting.

We arrived enthusiastic for a cheese tasting however were quickly disappointed. The young female serving us seemed disinterested and disorganized. She rushed through the tasting and walked away when customers were trying to ask questions. The cheese appeared as if it had been sitting there all day. This experience was enough to turn us off purchasing anything or staying to eat there. Their poor customer service is letting them down as they have lovely grounds and good potential.

Visited early Jan, I understand they had just reopened after a lengthy period of being shut. Was excited to try and buy some cheeses, the shop was jam packed full of people lining up to pay for food and drinks with no sign of cheese tasting? There was a cute gazebo where we sat which was outside down a path and a lovely garden area. My friend lined up for half an hour to order our cheese platter. It took another good half an hour for the platter to arrive but it was missing the crackers and biscotti as per the menu. The table opposite had the same issue. We had to go and line up again to ask for these which they did end up bringing out. The cheese platter was tiny for the $28 paid with 3 pieces of fancy cracker 'bark' and that was all for crackers. The staff were friendly enough but the value for money and experience left a lot to be desired. Hopefully they'll pick up with time as it's a lovely venue

Thank you Timboon Cheesery! Your beautiful boutique Cheesery - shop, cafe & gardens - was the highlight of our foodie trail afternoon. We very much appreciated your warm, genuine service, especially since we arrived right on closing time. You went out of your way to make us feel welcome, even brewing us coffee & dishing up delicious cheesecake for us to enjoy in the lovely garden. You even came out to take a picture of us, without us even asking! We will definitely be back to spend more time at this little gem of a place. It’s the whole package: beautiful organic produce, nice variety of artisan foods to take home, relaxing atmosphere & excellent service bar none! Can’t praise the friendly service highly enough!

We had a delicious brunch and exceptional service at Schulz Dairy /Timboon Cheesery. They were so accommodating my dietary needs, even the chef came out to double check what I wanted. The food and the coffee were both delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations on things to do in the area. We highly recommend to others and hope to visit again ourselves soon.

Spectacular gardens, great food, and service. Even the milk was fantastic! Cheeses are delicious and handmade. Local jams, chutneys, sauces are also for sale. Hila is a talented chef who makes great use of the farm's produce in her artisan pastries. The bacon, cheese and egg pastries are divine. You can have a picnic on the lawn ( rug provided) or sit at a table under one of the many shade trees. We will certainly be back. Thanks Jodie!

My husband and I visited today and we are so glad we did. The gardens are beautiful and everyone there was lovely and very helpful! There were certain cheeses I couldn’t eat as I’m pregnant so they even made changes to ensure I’m not missing out. Can’t wait to come back!

The good news is our vax certificates were checked. No tasting but we are talking artisan cheeses. We ended up with 3 varieties - Feta, an organic Brie and a smoked soft cheese. The winner was definitely the Brie - friendly but as with all artisan outlets not cheap - $33.

Decided to call in for a bite to eat after seeing the sign from the road. I opted for a scone with fresh cream, jam and a breakfast tea; my partner choose a milkshake and brownie which we enjoyed in the outside garden area. All tasted delicious, especially the scone which was light and fluffy. The staff were notability friendly which was nice. Looking forward to trying the milk, cultured butter and Greek yogurt we also picked up from the shop.

Nice place to stop in peaceful garden setting. Not a huge range of food and other than toasties nothing warm/hot. Cheese platter very nice. Kids had milkshakes which were tasteless. The vanilla milkshake had the most subtle vanilla taste: it was basically a large glass of frothy milk. Scone with jam and cream yummy.

Made especially a detour to have lunch here and buy some local dairy. Only to be told they closed the kitchen at 2pm ‘because it was a public holiday’! All signs said open till 4pm however. We arrived at 2:15pm so they could easily have served us if they would be hospitable. So the brand ‘Timboon’ will be of my shopping list now as it left a very bitter and unfriendly taste.

Took the family inland for a drive and came across the Timboon Cheesery. Arrived just in time for the $1 cheese tasting provided by a very kind and friendly host. Nice experience located on beautiful grounds.

Not really a cheesery as I’d expect. More a cafe that sold a handful of cheeses. No tastings available & the cheese they did sell was very mild in flavour and not that memorable. Nice setting for a morning coffee. Worth noting the ice creamery is seperate and situated in town.
