Went here for a lunch ....the food was nice ( nothing spectacular ) but the restaurant was quaint and the views absolutely beautiful . Definitely a place that is worth having lunch at as opposed to dinner when the views might not be there so much. Service was pleasant but nothing exceptional. The first table we sat at had purple... One of the most memorable periods in my life was the 6+ years I spent in France. While there, I enjoyed delicious food and scenery. Bistro Molines takes me back in time. Owned and operated by the awesome Sally and Robert Molines, this place is like being in France while in the Hunter. The food is superb; the ambiance, warm... More

We popped into Bistro Molines for a spot of tea/coffee and dessert after wine tasting in the Hunter Valley. The bistro looks tiny from the outside but there's more to it than meets the eye. Very, very busy on the Sunday afternoon we arrived but staff were still fairly attentive. The coffee and tea was fine. I would have preferred... More

Highly rated by friends our expectations for a top dining experience were high. In short the service was pleasant but we were pushed along and rushed through the service. The food was very mixed and our mains were on par with a pub meal except twice the price. The filet mignon was cooked well but very plain. The quail risotto... More

Amazing cute little restaurant! Really really yummy food! Can't wait to come back. I had the chicken which was very well cooked and my husband had the lamb shank which I couldn't stay away from his plate. It melts in the mouth and was perfect. For desert I had the chocolate mouse! 😍

Our meal was good, without being amazing. We'd heard good things and decided to dine here. I think our expectations were set a little high because although the food was nice, it was nothing spectacular, which is what we were expecting. I didn't like the asian dipping sauce that came out with the amuse bouche, i preferred to dip in... More
