We had a great soup lunch, topped by a fantastic brownie that we shared. My husband raved about the chocolate shake and insisted that we make that a mid-afternoon treat two more times. Excellent hot chocolate and carrot cake as well, though a little more pricey than some places in town. Obviously worth it or we wouldn't have come back.... More

We went here specifically for the chocolate tour which was a real eye opener in terms of the manufacturing and processing of chocolate. Getting to sample the chocolate from its raw form to the flavours possible by the addition of various spices and ingredients other than sugar was a real eye opener. As we were only here for the chocolate... More

Quickly became my favorite restaurant in this town. Loved the chocolate tour and after just started eating here. The coffee is great and avaliable earlier than most other places. Lunch and dinner both very good. Excellent trout, good sandwiches and of course the chocolate. The owner is very friendly and has a great staff. Will get to eat there again... More

Here I have had cappuccinos, the tuna sandwich and the carrot cake, and they were all amazingly delicious. Prices are normal to slightly higher, but definitely worth it to go and treat yourself here at least once.

The atmosphere is really nice and chill, the dessert are great... Learn all about chocolate and get to taste a lot of chocolate also... If in Mindo, stop by for a bite..

Mindo is famous for its wonderful chocolate. If you want the most delicious freshly made brownie you'll ever have in your life, this is the place to be. The brownies are absolutely amazing. Pro Tip: get some ice cream to go with the brownie. You won't regret it.

I should have listen to all the other reviews and stay with the brownies. I am not really sure why they offer anything else, if they are so good at making brownies. The food is too expensive for Mindo prices, and it is not tasty at all. It also took ages to arrive. Stay with the brownies, believe me.

I always make it a point to stop here when I visit Mindo. This year I took my husband to Mindo. We both enjoyed the Chocolate tour and then lunch at the cafe. As I right this I am drinking the late of my coffee from there...I guess I'll have to go back to get more ;)

They didn't have everything on the menu so we endid up ordering chicken and pork with chocolate in the sauce. It was fine, not really the special taste you would expect. The dessert we ordered got mixed up and we got an the right one extra. However we had to pay for the more expensive one we didn't order. All... More
