Loved the fact it was on it's own lagoon...but we were there at a time when there was no breeze so had a small problem with "no seeum's"...not a major problem and probably doesn't happen often. The food was good...unfortunately I can't give it a higher rating than that so for me it didn't live up to my expectations of... More

Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is the quintessential Polynesian dinning experience! Delicious, fresh seafood and excellent foo-foo drinks are paired with a dramatic hawaiian sunset from tiki huts perched over a beautifully landscaped lagoon. Be sure to check the sunset times for your trip and book a dinner here for at least 1/2 hour before sunset. You'll feel the total Hawaiian experience!

Great setting, but the quality is what impressed us the most. The steak I had, was very good with a great sear and the Ahi tartar was pretty good.

Very Pretty but was disappointed that our table #70 (the one on the island that everyone said to book) that we booked at 7:30 was still occupied but a couple that came in at 5:00 and the staff didn't make any opportunity to help.

Limited menu....average food quality...dark surroundings (we were seated in the back with no ocean view and next to a party of 16). Much better elsewhere in Wailea.

We visited the restaurant on the night of our wedding,we quickly realised that it was the ideal place to spend our evening together. We were greeted by a beautiful setting, friendly staff and as we would eventually find out, world class food. We both decided to go for the 4 course chefs choice and it was a great choice. Our server Justin... More

Don't be intimidated by the grandeur of the Grand Wailea. We usually splurge once when in Maui by going to the Humuhumu. The setting is spectacular. Go @ 5:00 pm and take advantage of some happy hour specials. Then comes the conch blowing, torch lighting followed by yet another magnificent sunset. Valet parking is complimentary if you get the ticket... More

We shared a nice sunset dinner here while at the Grand. We ordered starters of Ahi Tartare and the Seared Day Boat Scallops, and then entrées of Niman Ranch Prime Rib Eye and the Filet Mignon. All of the food was excellent, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is due to the... More

Really one of the best meals of my life. I don't even remember what we had because we shared but it was outrageously good.

The food and wine were delightful. The view was fantastic. We ate early in order to see the sunset and it was worth it.
