We came in for a light lunch, which they did not offer. Fairly expensive for the area. The food was fine. They added a 12% gratuity to our check (4 person party) This was the only place that did that in the entirety of Cuba during our 2 week vacation.

although it was a whole menu with bread, salad & main dish 10-12 CUC are way to much for the quality of the food. we do not recommend it!!!!!

We had a lovely meal in this very friendly restaurant. They played live music and the service was great.

We were there last week. Avoid this place. They charge you 10 to 15 cuc for a small plate of food (you can select between chicken, pork, lobster...) with a small portion of rice and fried banana. They say that service is 12% charge and they charged us 5cuc in a bill of 25 (total 30 cuc for 2 "main"... More

Nice Restaurant with good Food. The meals are not very Big. Service is ok. They are a Little bit in hurry to get the Table free after you have finished dinner.

This place is a scam, don't listen to the guys in the street (jineteros) that try to drag you to the place, they will tell you that they are taking you to a nice and less touristic place as a favour, but they get a commision for that and the place is horrible. We didn't like the food, it is... More

This is by far the worst meal I have eaten in a restaurant anywhere. The only plus point is I didn't get food poisoning. When we arrived for dinner the place was emply, this should have sent alarm bells ringing, and it remained empty for the duration of our meal. The dining room looked grim although the tables were dressed... More

It looks that the story of the guy recommending this restaurant, and whose grandfather is the chef is repeated among other reviews. I fell for it also. Only came because they offered me any meat dish for 8CUC, instead of the usual 10-12CUC. This is the only reason I will give 2 stars instead of 1. Anyway, I was the... More

My boyfriend ate at El Criolitto after being handed a business card in the Parque José Martí. We only decided to eat there after another restaurant recommended to us was closed, and we struggled to find another option. The front door was locked, but after rattling it, a waitress came and let us in. The restaurant was empty bar one... More
