Begin with the chef and owner that is a special good person. The food so great and love flavors and the dessert of a browny cake with ice cream taste so good. I do not know the name but is really good. Come and eat here. You are going to like it.

If your looking for a break from rice and bean restaurants and craving excellently prepared food make your way to Chef Tino's restaurant. I rate the food four star although my rating is only a three because of uncomfortable seating and poor window treatment to block off visible traffic and headlights shining into man dining area. I spoke to chef... More

We are locals wanting to celebrate the New Year's weekend near the beach at the coastal town of Isabela. Trip advisor has been very helpful in our europe vacations so we follow its suggestion and went to Yias by chef Tino. It is small but the food is fantastic. Chef Tino personally explained the specials and you can see and... More

We had briefly met Chef Tino 3 years ago in Old San Juan, and when we planned our trip this year, we got in touch via social media & made reservations for dinner. We received a warm welcome, and Chef Tino made us feel like we were at home. We asked him to choose our appetizers, so we started with... More

I usually don't go to the same restaurant more than once. Yia's is an exception. I've been here three times so far and will be back. The decor is dark, like many have already said. But, I like the look. It reminds of a lounge in a major city (ie NYC or Chicago). Music matches. Chef Tino and his staff... More

The food and the ambience it's great, the day we went there was live music, the only thing it's that it's too expensive for the amount of food they serve you,I guess that is because it's fine dining but still I have been in other fine dinning restaurants and the portions are more generous, the taste of the food it's excellent

Chef Tino received us and explained the whole menu for the night. We had an awesome Tuscany soup to begin with and ordered our duaghter's food. We explained to the chef about our daughter's food allergies and he assured us that everything would be taken care of, and that was the case! The food was tasty, delicious and beautifully presented.... More
