Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food. I cannot wait to go back!!! There were four of us dining and we each tried a different item from the menu and, of course, shared a bite or two. I had the crispy wings (salt & pepper) & the Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese salad. I did find the wings a bit bland for my taste but the server provided me with extra spice (Cajun) and they were lovely. The salad was gorgeous! Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we have agreed to go back again very soon and try different items. Love the pub atmosphere and imagine it would be a nice place to go on a sunny Saturday evening to listen to some local music and have a beverage. Now that's a plan for this summer! PS - normally I hate Sweet Potato Fries (too bland for my taste buds) but they had them done in a special way... I almost ate more than my mom (& as they were part of her meal, that must mean they were really good)! I'm gonna order them myself on our next visit!

This is a quaint little pub and the atmosphere brings you back to a day long past which is good since they boast such on their website. The good was mediocre at best. The cod was fresh however wasn't cooked enough. The bear batter was good. The fries were dry and seemed to have been sitting a while even though the place was rather busy.

During our stay in Placentia, we enjoyed three separate meals at the Three Sisters Pub. This establishment is centrally located, with a great variety of food and deserts. We enjoyed desert, local craft beer, dinner, and breakfast here. Outdoor seating with water views were available. The service, cleanliness, and quality of the meals were excellent. I would highly recommend during your stay to this area.

Terrible expensive food, slow service, not fit for a dog to eat there. Ordered chicken soup which was spaghetti noodles, chicken broth, pickled carrots and a half cooked hard boiled egg🤮Also had poteguse seafood stew, consisted of can tomato soup, 3 shrimp, 3 mussels that were gross 🤮 no cod and a few potatoes. Soup was $14 and stew $18 wasn’t worth $5 Don’t go there.

Went to the Three Sisters Pub for dinner however was disappointed. The menu has changed and it’s now a pub with no “pub style” food. No wings, onion rings, nachos, club sandwiches, Caesar salads, etc! I did try the fish & chips however & found it was done in a very heavy & greasy dough batter! Did tell the waitress and her response was “yes, we’ve heard that a few times”! You think they would fix it if customers are complaining! Would definitely NOT order it again!

As a vegetarian in Newfoundland, usually the farther away from St. John's I get the greater my fear becomes that I'll end up having french fries for supper because there will be nothing else I can eat on the menu. Not only is that disappointing but it can make you feel like a burden when you have to ask for accommodations. This place is not at all like that. In fact, I have to come back because I wasn't able to try all the plates I had wanted. Most of them aren't even explicitly "vegetarian food", they're just beautiful dishes which happen to be meatless. I had three dishes. The best was the Brussels sprout/kimchi/feta taco they had as a special of the night which I gobbled up before I had a chance to photograph. The peaches & tomatoes were refreshing but more bland than I was expecting, and last up was the chicken fried oyster mushrooms which really hit the spot. We finished the meal off with homemade gelato which was also very yummy, and they even had a sorbetto option if you don't do dairy. Don't worry, if you're not yet ready to embrace the veg life (even though this would be a great opportunity to dip your toe in!!), there are lots of meat options for you too. They seemed a little backed up in the kitchen but the service was still lovely despite the wait. To the chef, thank you so much for taking the time to curate such a flexible menu like this with so many options. I can't wait to come back for the 5 course dinner!!

This pub was very quaint, pretty to look at on the outside and the inside. Our server was friendly and the establishment was clean. The menu is not large but most people should be able to find something they like. We were somewhat disappointed in our food though. The portions were small and our salads were 90% romaine lettuce with some snow peas and a thin slice of cucumber each.

I was on an explore of my Dad's hometown and after a trek on the boardwalk in the mist and a bit of a hike in the cold, this place was perfect to settle into a nice bowl of soup and some mussels. The service was very nice. I'd like to go back on an evening when there is music. If you are driving through or stopping by, drop into this place.

Typical bar type food with a nice selection of beers. Food is not exceptional, but is certainly above average. A friendly bar type atmosphere

We had a late lunch here and were served swiftly and politely but the chowder we ordered was rather ordinary, the large portion rather small and the Price steep for what it was. Only cash payment as machine did not work (that day?). The draft IPA tasty and cold but also not inexpensive.

Beautiful historic pub style restaurant. We sat outside overlooking the harbor. Lots of parking making it easy for a large camper. Delicious fresh food. Lovely staff.

They were very busy so we didn't order a normal size meal (approx 45mn wait for food) but the fries and onion rings we ordered were served hot and tasted decent, like average pub food. What we found out later was that there is a Three Sisters Express service counter within the Argentia Ferry terminal but not sure what their food tastes like, there too there was a huge line up.

Yummy fish and chips. Chowder good as well and the sweet potato fries with aioli. Not many places to eat past here so if you are on your way to the Cape, stop in.
