Although I have not visited Mill Valley, California in seven years, I've never forgotten the great Italian Cuisine served at Piazza D'angelo on Miller Avenue. I hope to return for a visit sometime this year (2024) and have their very delicious Salad and Pasta dishes. My memory always noted that their portions are generous and I couldn't finish it all. So the leftovers went back to my friend's refrigerator to be eaten later. My stay-over was long overdue as dear friends and I reminisce of conversations, memories and adventures of years past.

This restaurant is great! The atmosphere here was great and the service from our waitress made us feel like we were being cared for. There were many great menu options to entice you and to serve to a wide variety of tastes. We ordered the burrata and gnocchi, both of which were amazing. We also got the chocolate mousse and chocolate cake with gelato, both of which left our sweet tooth satisfied. Overall, this restaurant is ideal for anyone who wants a light snack or a heavy meal.

A wonderful 5:30 dinner spot and easy walk to a 7pm movie at the Sequoia Theatre.
Starter: Caesar Salad w/change of dressing to Balsamic is great for anyone who can't have Garlic. Entrees Pasta dishes are marvelous comfort foods: Conchiglie pasta w/chicken, broccoli, pecorino & light tomato sauce; the evening special: Risotto Funghi is rich, flavorful and fantastic!
Potions are generous, easily shared or leftovers taken home. Definitely make a RSVP.

This restaurant was recommended to me. It had a nice vibe and a lot of customers coming and going.
It felt like an informal and friendly Italian restaurant which was nigiri and the staff were jovial and welcoming.
We were visiting for drinks and nibbles and sat at the bar. We ordered a salmon pizza to share. The varieties of pizza are limited with only around 5 flavours to choose from.
The pizza tasted good enough. It was a medium size and cost around $23.
I found the restaurant to be a bit expensive for what it was but I also understand that these prices are representative of the restaurants location.

If it's on the plaza/piazza, it must be good; or, how about if it looks classy, the food must be good. Fooled again. Ordered saltimboca, and after about 30 minutes, was served chicken parmagianna. I immediatedly told the waiter that I had ordered saltimboca, and he brusquely replied that this parmagianna was saltimboca. Not wishing to make a scene, I ate it. Not remarkable. With a lump of spinach: not remarkable, and a lump of mashed spuds.
This was cafe food. Had better on the road, anyplace.

My wife and I were not that hungry tonight, but still wanting some dinner. We tried this Italian restaurant, near our hotel. We shared a salad, a tortellini dish, and also the warm chocolate cake with vanilla gelato. The food was excellent! Service was great and the staff was very understanding. The decor is very nice. Prices are appropriate for the great ambience and food.

We went for a quick dinner and enjoyed their pizza. Their dinner menu had a very limited selection of pizzas (only 5 choices, I recall) but they seemed fine with modifications. On one of our pizzas, green peppers had clearly been added after baking, or very near the end of the bake, and were raw and just sitting on top of the pizza (and would fall off if the slice was tilted slightly). That was strange. Other than that, we enjoyed the pizza and drinks.

How amazing it was to eat inside a restaurant after a year of only take out, or outside dining. And it felt very Covid-19 safe. The front door was open on a chilly night, but that was OK. The pastas were excellent. And, because we were staying at the Mill Valley Inn, we each received a complimentary glass of Prosecco -- we were happy with that.

We loved this restaurant. The service and the meal was absolutely magnificent! My son loved the pizza and I had the gambrel inferno (sautéed gulf shrimp, white wine, lemon, butter, chili flakes, and sautéed spinach). Would definitely go again. CO-VID friendly.

We fell in to this place on a rainy evening and it proved a wonderful refuge full of happy patrons and tasty dishes.
Seems to be a bot of a local hangout and we were included right away. It was a birthday dinner so they did it up for my friend and she was charmed by the attention.+
Check i t out for yourself!

I stopped here for lunch after the local UPS driver recommended it. He was spot on! Delicious food and reasonable prices. I had the lunch special for $19.99. It included a wonderful salad, petrale sole with sautéed spinach, and amazing bread with olive oil dipping sauce. House wine was $7 with the special. Atmosphere and service were great, too.

We had lunch at this restaurant after hiking in the park. My wife had the arugula salad with gorgonzola and roasted peaches. Greens were fresh and crisp. Dressing complemented the salad, not overpowering. I had the Hawaiian swordfish- fresh, firm and cooked perfectly. Portions were just right for lunch. Service was outstanding. Staff were pleasant and accomodating. Overall a good place grab lunch after hiking.

We treated ourselves to a quick retreat for a couple of days in Marin County. This place looked like we could get a nice dinner and still have gluten-free options. Everything was delicious, right down to the dessert. We had smiles on our faces the whole time, as the ambience and the food kept us happy. Strong recommendation!
