We visited and stayed at the Plume of Feathers on one of our stops on our coast path walk. Really great location for coastal walkers. We stayed in Gull Rock which is the smallest of the B&B rooms offered (cheaper of all the rooms). The...More

We have had some excellent food at this pub. However, this Friday evening they were busy and overstretched and it took almost an hour to fulfill our order. The food was also average - not so much care in cooking the dishes. We conclude this...More

Two nights ago I had a simply delicious meal at the Plume. Pan-fried liver with sage crisps, creamy mash and veg. It sounds simple but if the ingredients are top notch and the cooking excellent then you do not need over-fancy food at all. It...More

We visited here whilst camping around the corner in gerrans, had a lovely lunch, nice choice for kids menu. Reasonable price. Pub set in a beautiful village, not much parking available though.

Popped in for a roast. The staff are friendly. A little disappointed with the vegetables thought they could have been more fresher, seemed boiled not steamed but it was late in the day... but still. Would return.

We stumbled across this pub whilst exploring the coast. It has a local feel and not too 'touristy'. After a lovely stroll along the beach we headed into the pub for a Sunday Roast - we chose the Roast Venison (with all the trimmings). Absolutely...More

Hi, we are open on Christmas day for 2 hours just for drinks, no food I'm afraid. Dogs are more than welcome, there can sometimes be more dogs than people in the pub so they must be on leads. All other days, food is... More

Description
The Plume of Feathers is a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. On May 1st 2016 we opened our 5 en-suite B&B rooms above the Plume, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the convenience of being in the center of Portscatho is a great base to discover the Roseland. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount.
