We love this place - no frills but great food, cooked freshly on site with wonderful views of the beach. We drove for two and a half hours to get there for our fifth visit and it's always really really good.

Called in between Christmas and New Year as I had been raving about the place to my brother. We didn't get there till about 2.30 and there wasn't a full selection left, but we had veggie pasties and they were absolutely delicous.. Roll on next summer when we will be back.

Quite ashamed to say, despite being Cornish, we have only just visited The Hidden Hut. A pleasant stroll from the Portscatho carpark across a couple of small fields to arrive at the Hut. Stunning views of the sea and dog friendly, we were lucky to pick a sunny day. Queue for food but it didn't take long, have to be... More

Hidden hut is a lovely spot but has possibly outgrown itself. Views are amazing and its a great place to stop for a drink. Don't go expecting to get food however. Three occasions over past 12 months we've been there no pasties left and very little other food available, all occasions have been early/mid afternoon so not exactly a legitimate... More

Found out about this place by accident some time ago and took the opportunity to visit on our way back from St Ives…so glad we did. Weather was fresh but who cares when there is great food to eat. Indulged in an Indian coconut Dahl and brioche pudding to finish it off. I consider it value for money and worth... More

Have just been to The Hidden Hut above Porthcurnick beach for a New Year's Day Lunch with family and friends. Great atmosphere and really good food. The smoked haddock, bacon and crab chowder with croutons and focaccia roll was out of this world. This was my first visit to The Hidden Hut. It certainly won't be my last.

Well worth a visit , food is great and location is stunning . Due to its popularity it's very busy even on 28th December , be prepared to have no personal space . If you can't deal with lots of people in your space then you are in the wrong place

We stopped off at the hidden Hut for a nice hot drink on the way back from a walk around the coast. The kids had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and we had a cup of tea. It was late in the day so we couldn't see what other items they sold, but believe they do pastries and other... More

Having been advised to try and book a 'feast' here, our first opportunity was to just stop off for an early lunch prior to a coastal walk. Arrived at 1130 having not realised lunch cooking is not available until 12, so decided to have a pasty and sausage roll, which were ready. By the time these and our coffees had... More
